Alabama is not South Carolina. Care to make it interesting. Say a ban bet.

Aren't you sick of hearing the South Carolina game as evidence too? You gashed us for 258 yards rushing and 406 yards total. Tennessee shredded our secondary for 381 yards passing, 472 yards total, and 35 points. We are fortunate to have won that game, and it's painful to say that. The only defenses that have lived up to being elite this season are Alabama, Florida, and LSU in that order.

Bama won't beat us running the football. If we can affect AJ in the passing game, we will win.

It's not so much about our defense other an limiting AJ from hitting something deep. If we keep everything in front of us we'll be fine.
It's mostly about our offense. We have to move the chains and convert third downs. We need to keep our defense off the field enough to keep them rested.

We have convert scoring opportunities into TD's as I don't expect we'll get many.

UF has a better defense. LSU's red zone D is 13th in the SEC. Thats second to last. Bama will always have the best D under this defensive staff.

No FBS team has gotten to 300 yards total offense on Bama since 2010. Only GA Southern.

Thank You. LSU and Florida are #3 and #6 in total defense (which focuses on general yardage), but LSU and Florida are #9 and #4 in scoring defense. You can do a stat by stat comparison, but I'd still stick with Florida's. It's not a huge difference, but it's significant.

Plus GA Southern is a historically great FCS team (including last season), and they play a well-executed triple option. I've heard that Alabama has a little difficulty defending option attacks. Is that true?

I think we will go ahead ealry and this loss should be painless for the LSU fans. Once we are ahead by 24 it will be clear that its over.

..even in 2009 @ Alabama did this not occur. Hell, in the 2008 season, with all of the struggles with the Malveto defense and Lee's turnovers did this not happen.

LSU will win this, and Alabama fans will be crying saying it was because they had to play in Baton Rouge, and how, if it was played on a neutral field or at Alabama, they would have won it.

Well, we beat Bama at Bryant Denny Stadium last year with under 100 yards passing in the "Game of the Century." Yes, we beat the same team that beat us 21-0 and held us to less than 100 yards of offense in the BCS Title Game.

Just looking at what we did last year - LSU can win this game. Let me say it again - They won against one of the best defenses I've seen at Bama with JJ "DYN-O-MITE" Jefferson quarterbacking last year. Yes, they are going to have to play much better than how they have been playing (offensively - similar to how they played against South Carolina).

Bama's QB is playing awesome and he is cool under pressure. But the pressure will increase by a few notches because he played LSU at Bama last year and in a Dome that was pretty close to a 50/50 fan split as far as I could tell when I was there. He has yet to face a winning team on the road this year. And to be honest, the best team he has faced on the road was Mississippi State last year who finised 7-6 and was 5-5 when they played. This is a step up.

Doesn't really matter. Even if we beat Bama and they don't go to the ship Harvey Updyke will steal the crystal football. Then Bama fans will claim it on t-shirts for the rest of time.

Crowd noise, putting his arse on the ground regularly with front four or blitzes, and being physical at the LOS with his receivers will all affect him. I think he and his team are due for a bad game. Heck, Brady, Rodgers, and Brees have bad games so why can't AJ?

The only thing obvious about you is your cluelessness. Having said that, move along, nothing to see here.

We have the best running game in the country. The only chance you have is to force us to throw. AJ could be the best QB in the country but everyone has a bad game passing it now and then. With our RB's its hard to have a bad game running it. If our OL has a weakness its in pass blocking.
