How do you take bama over Texas when Texas beat them at bama?

Good. frick both Georgia and Alabama.

It doesn’t help LSU at all if either one of those teams makes it to the playoffs.

I would love to see the mental gymnastics needed to justify this statement.

Bama’s lone loss- top 5 Texas

Texas’ lone loss- not top 10 Oklahoma

They’re going to let Saban in and they’ll manipulate the numbers however they need to to make it look like a good decision

No they will not. No way. Head to head absolutely matter which is why UT is ahead of them in the polls.

They beat the #1 team in the country

What is Texas’ biggest win?

Don't know how you keep a team out from the conference that has won 6 of 9 CFPs because they have 1 loss. It's actually kind of sad because at this point Texas has more to bring than a JT-less FSU.

I think Bama is too hot to keep out of the playoffs and think they jump Texas at this point. When UT beat Bama earlier in the year, Bama didn't have an established QB. Even though I think Milroe isn't a world-beater, I think he can get them to the Championship with that run game.

The committee will be rooting for Iowa and Louisville. In this case you could basically have 3 SEC teams in. Alabama, Georgia, and Texas. I know Texas isn’t SEC, but they aren’t in the big 12 anymore either.

Let the chaos begin!

Easy there tiger. I was just saying what those pushing Bama would say. Bama won’t be #1

ETA:
Bama’s win is better than Texas’ win
Bama’s loss is better than Texas’ loss
