L.A. is probably the best city in the U.S. to live in as a multi multi millionaire.

This. I hope our AD is using message board rumors to entice candidates to LSU.

I seriously doubt Woodward gives a crap about anything posted here. He’s too busy running an entire athletic department with a $140M+ budget. If any of the “experts” here had a clue how to do his job they would be the LSU AD instead of some wanna be fair weather fan keyboard warrior.

On the other had, it’s funny to read what a handful village idiots post.

While Bama probably seems like a good job, it is going to be tough to meet the expectations they will have after Saban. They will have an easy time hiring the replacement, but after that may be difficult. IMO

Because I have been to Nearly every major city in the U.S.
L.A. sucks if you’re poor or middle class, but if you’re rich, all the shitty things about L.A. can be avoided, and you can enjoy the near perfect year-long weather and endless shite to do.

Not to mention that L.A. is a huge hotbed for football recruiting.

Not sure about Oklahoma. I'd put Georgia or Texas ahead of them.

I agree. They don’t have time.

Don’t disagree with anything you said, SoCal is phenomenal if you have money.

I still think that the institutional commitment to success puts LSU ahead of USC. Is their admin willing to commit $2M for coordinators? That’s something we’re willing to do

Was Bama considered a top-5 job pre-Saban?

IMO, they weren't even top-10. They were a clown show between Bryant and Saban (apart from a brief respite with Stallings).

Let's see - Perkins, Curry, Stallings, Price, Franchione, DuBose, Shula.

I'm going to tell you right now, neither Bama or Clemson are top 5 jobs. Saban and Dabo have made you believe that, but it's not true.

LSU won with three different coaches. You can dominate the nation from BR with the right coach. Sure Saban is great but LSU can dominate.

AND at LSU you can fire and hire offensive and defensive coordinators every single year!!!
