Our DT’s are loaded and deep.

We have 6 we have faith in:

Farrel
Logan
Smith
Roy
Evans
Guillory

Love it.

Y’all acting like it’s a permanent move.

Of course he may be better at DT but with Anthony out he’s a better option at DE than let’s say Little or Phillip Webb, etc

Hopefully we find another DE that steps up. We are getting thin at DE.

Little and Cherry have looked serviceable, so hopefully they can spell the primary guys with a few reps in SEC games. Hopefully Founa is back soon, as well.

He should never come off the field.

What position would you have him play on offense?

He does better on the inside, but hey- I think he can evolve into a good DE also. So if we are in need, and he gets better let's do it.

That's another thing... I thought Cherry did very well at DE in limited time. He got affects on the QB and I did specifically watch for him on a couple of plays and he did quite well setting the edge. He absolutely fought like a cat to keep from getting turned in and forced the CMU RB inside several times.

All things being equal, I think I'd prefer to see Maason inside and Cherry at DE with some rotation and Masson seeing reps spelling him.

It's hard to just say Maason should never play outside, not with his length and ever-improving explosion (it's not there yet btw).

Why?

And isn't Bryce Langston and Savion Jones available?

Not a horrible idea but we have depth at the position already..

I will get shite but so far, he is WAY better inside than outside. This aint what i wanted to hear.

He will definitely slide inside still on PR situations. His agility really sets him apart in the interior.

Probably don’t want to go with Ojulari of BJ if the offense is trying to run

Love the move. I’ve been missing the athletic 290 lb DEs since since the Saban and early Miles era.

I mean I wouldn’t be pissed if he had the stamina to play left tackle 30 snaps/game.
