I appreciate your response, but I’d imagine that bridge is in ashes.

Marty ran across a tarmac in 36 hour unchanged underpants to get this interview. Give that man a Christmas bonus ESPN.

Weird he doesn't have a better answer for why he'd go to LSU. He had two chances and booted both of them.

He can’t answer that publicly, especially not on the tarmac in Oxford.

But everyone knows.

I said that because of his emotionless statement about Marty n crew running around the fire truck

did you see them hug at the end? its clear they have a relationship. That interview never happens, otherwise.

Kiffin is dejected because of the situation, not Marty.

Just two metrosexuals talking football on a rural Mississippi tarmac while wearing sportcoats cut from the upholstery of their grandmothers’ sofas. Nothing to see here.

I hope that this helps answer questions about his maturity. He gave the perfect answers. Why dunk on the school and the players that afforded him the opportunity to reach the pinnacle of coaching?

Not that it will satisfy anyone, but I was glad to hear him say he regretted the circumstances of his departure from Tennessee.

I thought his answer was the perfect, professional answer. That was the only part of the interview I rewatched.

If you close your eyes and listen, you'd swear it was Saban speaking.

He handled this well. Not quite the mustache-twirling villain he’s made out to be, it would seem.

I hope he’s able to catch his breath soon enough; I’m sure he’s as exhausted by this transition as anyone.

“God told me to go coach at LSU so I’m going” is a pretty awesome answer.

Though I don’t for a second believe that Lane is a devout Christian.

He was referring to his conversation with Saban.

He didn’t even have the goddamn common courtesy to give him a reach around.

They’re Tigers and wear what the hell they want to wear!

Just win National Championships!!
