Money, conference, higher ceiling, bigger challenge.

No thanks.

He’s done an awesome job of changing the culture up there and making them physical so far, but he’s the exact same as O. In order for him to be successful the coordinator hires need to be homerun hires, and every homerun hire would eventually leave for a step up and he’d have to make another excellent hire. Just an unsustainable concept unless you are Dabo with Venables

Cristobal is gonna be the exact situation as Orgeron without the off field shenanigans. We will be incredibly coordinator dependent on a coach with no offensive system.

Without knowing the intelligence level and adaptability of Cristobal we have no way of determining this. Cristobal has to be more intelligent than O and Alleva combined. He's not leaving Oregon for LSU anyway.

Maybe not, but LSU does have the most national championships outside of Bama since 2000. If guys like Les Miles and Ed O can win an NC at LSU, it's clear that numerous others could as well.

The Pac-12 has had just one team win the NC game this century and that was vacated. The SEC has won 12 of the last 20 with 4 different teams winning NCs. Oregon has played in the NC game on two ocassions though, so they have been close. Still, a team that has played in 4 NC games since 2000 in the best conference with only one being when Saban was coach is pretty enticing for anyone wanting to reach the top of the mountain (the con is having to compete with the best in Saban).

Ohio St trailing has way more to do with them than it does with Oregon. Look at the Minnesota game for reference.

Cristobal has already hired 2 great offensive coordinators.

Moorhead is who lsu should've looked at.

Oregon can run and pass the ball.

You really think he would leave Oregon to coach LSU with these cry baby arse fans who will call for his job the first time loses to Bama....I doubt it.

Unless he wants to be paid for 5 years NOT to coach when they pay his buy out!

It’s 100 percent over for O. It’s not a If when O gets fired it’s a When.

He’s gone.

If Ed O was competent as a coach, he would have tried to hire Moorehead as our Offensive coordinator. Alot of the concepts Brady used was from Moorehead. Instead we went with the guy whos never called plays. What could possibly go wrong?
