Mario Cristobal needs to be one of our top targets when we replace O.

Oregon looks pretty good, and they have been solid all around since he’s been there.

He can recruit pretty well.

Since he’s been there this is Oregon’s recruiting rankings.
7th
11th
7th
6th

Also the Dlines and O lines look very solid. Even without their number 1 overall pick.
Worth a shot IMO. Might even should be the leading candidate.

Good track record.

Isnt Mario Cristobal similar to O in that he doesn’t have any Coordinator experience? If that’s the case I’m out. Those setups lead to constant turnover.

In 2019 he pulled the number 1 DE
And the Number 1 OT in the country.
Something we could use right now.

Yea, he was co-oc of Oregon for 1 year before he got the job. I personally would rather someone who excels on one side of the ball and understands X’s and O’s of play calling.

Played at Miami, coached at FIU and under Saban at Bama. He has a history in the Southeast and he's Cuban so perhaps he'd enjoy the Cajun culture.

Yeah I don't see the allure from going from Oregon to LSU. If he can make them a top program there is literally no reason to leave. Especially not while Saban is still in the SEC.

I was told career position coaches can’t be successful head coaches.

I also don’t think he’d leave Oregon. He’s set up to run that conference until USC moves on from Helton.

Unlike Orgeron he can get good coordinators to work with him because he's not a laughing stock in the coaching profession.

Why not come build something to run the SEC. LSU has the talent and resources to do it.

Saban won’t be here forever.

I get so tired of people with takes like this early in games. Just last week he beat Fresno St by one TD. He runs a bland offense that limits his QBs (what Herbert was able to do despite him is telling).

He's a great recruiter, I'll give him that, but I want a guy who locks down one side of the ball. Tired of the CEO types. I want a guy who also plays the game like it's 2021 not 2012.

Ohio St trailing has way more to do with them than it does with Oregon. Look at the Minnesota game for reference.

I’m gonna have to fight Cristobal it appears all
Year. Cristobal is gonna be the exact situation as Orgeron without the off field shenanigans. We will be incredibly coordinator dependent on a coach with no offensive system. LSU really needs a coach that can develop a qb. He under utilized Justin Herbert.

Don't want him.

Same exact shite relying on coordinators. This is one game

He went 4-3 last season he's very sporadic.

Yea,

He'll never win a NC at Oregon, ever. If he sneaks into the Big Game he'll get crushed. If not winning Championship is OK with him I don't want him.
