If J.Stevens went pro, guessing he would be billed the next hybrid safety/LB. Even Stevens took two years to really start making an impact. He had that huge sack against Georgia in 2018 but not much else before that.
Maybe it really was just a family thing and needed to get closer to his mom. The position thing doesn’t make much sense.

I doubt this is true but I bet he will use it to get a waiver if he does actually transfer.
My opinion if the coaches are trying to make him move positions and he is truly unhappy it’s probably better for both parties to move on. He is a great talent and will suck to lose him but LSU and Marcel Brooks will be fine moving forward. No matter the decision.

Btooks was my favorite young player. You know LSU's defense is going to be "its best ever" when a guy like this is on the move. WOW! BJ Ojulari is the real deal. Arik Gilbert got all the press but watch out for BJ Ojulari. The only question with this years team is QB and QB depth.Take the TIGAH'S to get back to the Final Four.
This defense is huge athletic and has a snarling DC to go along with them finally. Several opposing QB's will leave Tiger Stadium with soiled pants at the break this year. Some may not return.for the 2nd half.
