Does he have a problem with Nussmeier coming here? They both played for Marcus HS in Flower Mound, TX.

I don’t have details but it’s similar to what Dare & kelvin Joseph have done recently to avoid team/university discipline. He’s not being kicked off the team but Rather than face it, might remove himself from it from what I understand.

Well, I do appreciate that Coach O keeps all of this stuff out of the public eye. LSU crazy fans like us talk and speculate but whatever it is, the general public doesn't know.

If he’s met with the coaches before putting his name in the portal then there’s no chance he’s coming back. I really thought he would be an all American here so this really stings. As far as his position goes I would think Pelini could have molded him into a guy like Laron Landry was for us as a box safety that excelled at blitzing. No question he was not a true all around safety and would have had 4 guys in front of him but you’d think you could make room for a guy with his ability and then plug him into Jacoby Stevens spot after this year. I wish the kid well.

I agree that is a silly way to think.
According to that logic, then losing Burrow after his Junior season would not have been the worst thing ever.
I recognize not the best example, but I am sure the point remains. Elite talent can make big time strides from season to season.. It's called progression and opportunity.
I really wish he would stay.. His commitment had a number of us pretty hyped. He was such a huge recruiter for LSU.
