Manning

I'm telling you. Listen carefully. Manning will be a bust in comparison to his ranking.
He plays against crap talent and can't put up #s

He doesn't camp...why is that? I'll tell you. Because if he openly showed up to something like the elite 11, he would finish ranked 11th.

He will sit behind Ewers and transfer to Ole miss by yr 2

Eli is damn good! He's been a year behind Howard and has now landed in a solid spot. And thats fine. Howard is really good, not inflated #s, played against top talent each week, and excelled.

We'll be fine for 3 years

That’s why you’ll never have a son good enough to play at Bama. I am an LSU alum. I’m was on staff with the LSU football team. If I had a son and my son wanted to go to Bama, I wouldn’t stop him. It’s a premier program with the best coach in the history of college football. I would want him to go to LSU. But this they wouldn’t go to Bama is stupid.

So because he wouldn’t want his son to play for his schools rival, his son will never be successful?!?! Tf kind of logic is that? Sorry not everyone kisses Sabans arse like you.

If you thought there was even a chance of Arch Manning coming you’re a moron. frick the Mannings. They hate LSU and it starts at the top with that fricking Ole Miss patriarch.

Holstein didn't want to sit behind Howard again

This is what LSU fans tell themselves in the back of their head but it's not even remotely true. He's sitting behind QBs at Bama and knows it.

Don't care about Manning I think he's one of the most overrated QBs I've seen in a long time. He's destined to fail in the culture of Texas where they haven't been relevant since Vince Young days. Texas never lacks talent but they can never put it together because of their culture and booster control over the program. They have stupid expectations for a Manning comparing him to his uncles rather than judging individual potential.

Holstein hurts losing but we can take the loss. Bama focused on him because he's the better QB. The only reason Manning is ranked ahead of him is because he's a...Manning.

Expand the conversation to what currently looks like possibly 8 of the TOP 10 in Louisiana not signing with LSU.

Texas has the money. Manning is following the money. Can’t say I blame him. That’s the way things are now with NIL. With his family history he may set a NIL record deal.

I mean he did run from competition with Walker Howard before. He transferred to zachary because he didn’t want sit behind Howard while at STM. That is a fact Jack.

Your son will go to any college he wants to. Manning was wearing a Texas Longhorn t-shirt at 12 years old.

This is just straight up not true.. Holsteins family bleeds purple and gold and he would have came to LSU but we showed 0 Interest. We went all in on Howard.

Partially true. Def bleed purple and gold & would have loved to have Eli at LSU. But previous coaches were all in on Arch and Eli refused to be 2nd string. Don't blame him. aTm rushed him hard and he committed early IMO to not be perceived as being an Arch follower. Then Saban came on strong and who wouldn't be interested in that program if you are interested in the process of getting better, playing for a NC contender every year, and being prepared for the NFL. Oh yea, being surrounded by lots of guys who will be in the NFL soon. New coaches pursued him but he probably never felt like it was 100% Once Saban made up his mine, he never waived from Eli.
Hate that he will be a Bamer but he will thrive and will be an NFLer after 3-4 years in college. Been coached hard all his life, has the body and tools, and a great work ethic.

Howard came. Is that a massive success on the part of LSU?

Just need to know your scale.

LSU offered him a scholarship in 2020 to say LSU wasn’t interested as much as he would have liked is just an excuse to save face from going to Bama. What he does is his decision but don’t act like LSU wasn’t wanting him
