Is this a failure on the part of LSU? Two top ranked QB talents leave. I know all about Howard, but Arch went to Texas where Ewers was present and Holstein went to Bama where Milroe was present. So, what say tRant? Are we simply lacking NIL money?

Manning was never coming to LSU & Holstein didn't want to sit behind Howard again.

It's been discussed numerous times.

Neither one of them wanted to play for LSU.Holstein is a Bama groupie and soon as he got an offer he was wanting Saban to be his daddy.Arch was never coming here

I understand your reasoning completely. I am just wondering, in the age of freely buying players, we couldn't pay one of these two enough to forget Daddy Saban or dick riding Sark?

Do I lack brain cells because I think Texas and Bama has more NIL than us? If so, you better check the facts. And start donating to the NIL fund cos you're wrong.

This is just straight up not true.. Holsteins family bleeds purple and gold and he would have came to LSU but we showed 0 Interest. We went all in on Howard.

First this has been discussed many times over.

Second, there us a whole board for this called the recruiting board.

You need to follow recruiting closer so you will not make posts like this one in the future...

Pretty sure he was on campus for a visit. Doubt he shows up if the staff was showing zero interest.

One thing is for sure. We definitely should panic about recruiting in June.

I'm glad you find a lack of NIL funny. Check the coffers at UT, T A$M, Bama, OSU, etc. We are behind.

I wouldn't expect you to panic, especially since you've got us going 8-4. Fake fan.

The games still have to be played and you can only put eleven on the field at any time. I worry and fret more about officiating than 18 year olds with stars in their eyes. We lost too many games in the last two years but I believe that phase is OVER. I personally can’t wait to see this defense and a healthy Myles Brennan (for as long as it my last). LSU will get it’s share of good players. And we now have a staff that will get more wins. This is NOT Texas A&M.

An extra $50k isn't going to do anything if they aren't going to be able to play. LSU isn't going to get the #1 QB in the state every year. It's never happened and never will.

I don't believe this. If you are a true LSU fan you don't go to Bama. If my son was a good enough player to go anywhere he wanted to, it damn sure wouldn't be Bama.

Howard was the year before dude.It doesn’t matter what his family likes or his friends. As soon as he got the Bama offer he was telling everybody his dream came true and it was his dream offer and he instantly decommitted from Texas A&M and was all on board with Bama weeks later. He doesn’t want to compete against Howard I’m sure beings he swapped high school for that same reason. But there are kids every year whose entire family bleeds purple an gold and they ride off into the sunset to suck off Nick Saban

Those two were never coming. Not being able to pull Collins from Purdue is weird, though.
