To play for which offensive coach? He has a top 3 play caller coming to his school and he wants to leave to play in an offense that will be markedly worse? He’s making really good money at LSU now by the way.

Here's where I am at with all of this.

If a player wants more money to go play for a washed up DC turned HC, then give it to him. Let him see that grass aint greener and learn the life lesson of being a late day 4 pick in the draft.

One day people will figure out that Moscona only cares about clicks and impressions. Factual reporting is a distant second.

You’re a moron if you let a talent like Green walk. Thank God you're not the one making the decisions. He's a 1st round talent and a QBs dream in the redzone.

speaking of morons

He is a good player, who has the potential to be very good. You are acting like he just had an all-american season. He had a LOT of drops, and, he doesn't block well at all in the run game. He has a good bit of room to improve. He will be a Tiger for all the reasons above, but you are no different than the OP.

Seems like they’re trying to farm engagement saying that. Not a peep of that talk from our side.

Him and DJ Pickett just signed exclusive Nike NIL deals with LSU….why the frick would he leave after getting his dream deal

According to Moscona, those deals are worth low 5 figures. Not much monetary value associated with them.

Very well might be true. However, that doesn’t mean that he’s always wrong. He definitely has connection within football ops, with a booster, or both.

He should pinch LSU for everything he can. That said, replaceable.

Man I love how nationally recognizable and powerful the LSU brand is. I’ll bet Ole Miss doesn’t have a deal like that with Nike.

I'm sure AT is working on getting one at OM.

He had memorable drops in multiple games this year.

Anyone and everyone should want him back, he's a very special player.

But that drop against Bama - it was 17-9 and he would have gotten at least 40 yards and probably more on that play if the could have avoided just one tackle. Plays like that haunt my dreams.

I don't trust anything Mike Scarborough has to say. He has been proven to lie to his own subscribers.

That's funny..the day LSU announced the NIL Nike deal, Mascona was raving about how massive this was!

If by letting walk means, you don’t make a reasonable offer, you may be right.

If by letting walk means you break the bank for him and sacrifice other positions of need, I don’t agree.

I like the kid, I think he’s good, but I think he can benefit from being in this offense every bit as much as an offense can benefit from having him.

Once again. If they wanna go let em. He had a good bowl game, he also drops a ton of passes. We need offensive lineman

The TE for Ole Miss destroyed our arse, while Treydez dropped a couple or so…the point is nobody is irreplaceable. If he walks, we will find someone else to replace him and maybe they won’t drop passes or maybe make plays.

It’s not necessarily a dream deal. Heard is was in the low 5 figures. I’m guessing $25K. Nike buys with their brand (the swoosh). I would think his NIL is higher than that.
He’s a hybrid TE/WR. We need a true TE than can run block/pass protect and catch passes.
