Young football players are not getting hyped up by the band my guy.

The atmosphere this year is back for sure. I have had season tickets for 40 years and there have been many times and many issues but today it is not alive again because of anticipation and product on field is ridiculous.

Here is the truth though.. You may not like the loud music blaring of the current era. But in the old era of the 60s and 70s you had to deal with fist fights constantly breaking out all over the stadium. Yes music may be loud and not your cup of tea but it beats having to worry about your safety like you did in the old days.

again......The young football players on the field do not want to get hyped up by the tiger marching band. I get that you're sentimental about the band. I happen to like the band. But also understand that those football players on the field want to hear what they like. Which is loud arse rap music.....If you don't like it. Then don't go to the game. There's a giant waiting list of people frothing at the mouth to buy your season tickets.
There are people paying a 4-time or more markup to buy tickets on seat geek.
I know you'll find alot of people agreeing with you here. But yall are the minority.

I was at the game Saturday. It was great. I don’t know what you’re expecting.
It cleared out towards the end of the third but that’s normal. It was a beat down.

Everybody is on their phones now. They want to be able to capture a moment. Being loud and jumping around is not conducive to capturing a well produced video.
Concerts are the same way. Remember KoRn at Woodstock 99? There will never be energy like that ever again at events.

A ton of the fun has been purposefully neutralized by the pumped in music.
When I was in school the wit of the Student Section shined during breaks and down time.

They play rap music with vulgar lyrics but will not let the band play NECK. LSU needs to stop with the stupid arse loud rap music and let the band play.The DJ needs to be fired ASAP.

You say this but every week I watch Georgia, Tennessee, Texas, etc. and their bands play the whole game. Yes they do mix in piped in music but their bands play more and sound louder than ours.

The majority of the fan base do not want to hear the sorry arse rap crap. The fans pay the players and the tickets. Rap sucks. Period. I can make better sounds out of my arse than what that garbage sounds like.

I have no desire to ever be in Tiger Stadium again.
Ditch the light shows and ditch the piped in music. Let Tiger Stadium be what it once was - Mike making a round before the game, the crowd screaming its lungs out, the Golden Band pumping up the fans, the smell of Bourbon permeating the air. As it is I would rather watch the games at home on my television.

The atmosphere for the Clemson and Texas A&M games was fantastic; both were very loud and disruptive.
