Thank You! It's a great style if you love low-scoring games and a team full of guards.

Agreed. Money will be the attraction. All this other nonsense like "We're LSU why would someone want to come here" is crapola. No one outside of LA thinks that way.

you don't know any of this to be fact based off of one fricking fluke game.

He has a younger image, much more swag, his players love him, he's recruited more 1000-point scorers than TJ, more defensive POY's than TJ, more tourney wins in the last 4 years lol, appreciates LSU bball history stating how he was remembers watching Dale Brown do bring LSU to great heights, is connected to the east coast recruiting grounds, has a better eye for talent.

I'm not saying he is our saviour, but this guy at least deserves more consideration than those few delusional fans are giving. He's improved at every level he's been in. He started from the lowest ranks in college bball and has made NSU a household name.

No, it isn't. Richmond is about 65 miles from Hampton.

Boo Williams has a gym in Hampton which houses a lot of AAU tournaments. At NCAA certified events college coaches will be present. This weekend the AAU state tournament is being held there. State tournaments are not typically NCAA certified events.

Yeah you're right. Dooley might have had a better resume.

And you are still delusional then like whoever you're talking about.

Why does everyone think these coaches are whores? Not all of them are. Hell Shaka just turned down 2.5 mil to ILL recently. It's not always about the money.

Try to pull Coach K away from Duke, Williams away from UNC, Gino away from UConn, Coach Summit away from Tenn, Mack Brown away from TX, Stoops away from OU, hell even Miles away from LSU. If it's about the money, then they'll come here if we doubled their salaries right?

Even more, how much damn money do y'all think LSU has to offer? Now come on back down to earth and let's really think about this.

no one is talking about them. But the right amount of money could probably lure a guy like Pastner or Bennett and maybe Dixon or Drew even...

and 64 always has traffic on it. It would take over an hour to make it from Richmond southside just to Williamsburg, over 2 hours to the beach unless you take 460 to Suffolk which doesn't make much sense coming from downtown Richmond.

I said money is the main attraction that LSU can offer. I didnt say all these coaches want is money. Please understand the difference.

I have a question that's a bit off topic. Why do people always describe black coaches as having "swag"?

I wanted to comment on this further than just lulz.

No one, not even the basketball team's biggest homers, think LSU is on the Duke/UNC/Kentucky blue blood level. Hell, it's not even on the Ohio State/Florida level of nationally respected powers.

BUT, LSU offers as much, if not more, upside than any other job in the country (I'm speaking of places that aren't already at that elite plateau). There's unlimited resources, in a power conference with growing reputation that could really turn into something special with the right coach.

So if you Joe Alleva, you aren't selling what LSU basketball is, you are selling what LSU basketball could be.

just a heads up, Tony Bennett was nowhere near Portsmouth yesterday, when Alleva was there. TB was at a UVA donors function in Roanoke, ~5 hours from Portsmouth.

Dude who F' said anything about a coach having swag because he's black?

Hell I think Saban has swag. I think coach cal has swag. Pete Carrol has swag. I think Drew has swag. Frank Martin evan.

Swag is just the way someone wears their confidence and has charisma.

I was overexagerating a little bit because some people can't seem to get it. They think we can just pluck their favorite coach away from their current school because "we are LSU". That only works for football.
