He was ahead 1-2 at one point. There is no reason to think he couldn’t go do it.

That's playing the result. You walk him from the jump.

Posting an opinion and pretending it’s a fact it’s a debate skill. Lester is a clown.

Spot on. You walk the best hitter, and setup a force out at 1st, 2nd, and 3rd base. No harm in walking Mendoza.

I thought Devin could to, but I'd have never given him the chance. Dude was absolutely worthless to them on first. Epicly bad decision.

No. Not tough. Walking Mendoza is the right move unless Martin just has your number.

Mendoza has been the far better hitter of late, and he was much better in conference against good teams. You go after Martin there with a force and you don't think twice.

Nothing to get mad about, but that was a severe problem for this baseball team to overcome this season. I have never seen such stupid pitching staff recruiting. We didn't even have a token LHP on the roster

This was an absolute dumb decision by Paul. Inexcusable! Paul needs to be forced to retire and if he won’t take it, then he needs to be fired.

Lester is the biggest clown around. Almost purposely trolling.

Baseball 101, don’t let their best hitter beat you with a base open and his run meaning nothing. Period. Especially that late in the game. He was bound to come through the more opportunities. Go after someone else if you can there.

Yup.

Easiest decision ever.

There is nothing tough about it unless you are a dumbass.

At least make him dig your best breaking ball out of the dirt.

Sucks to lose on a center cut Alan Dunn fastball with a 1-2 count and a base open.

When you need a hit to win the game, who is the easier out?

Guy that’s hitting .340 with the 20% k rate

Guy that’s hit .317 with the 24% k rate

I’ll hang up and listen

To be fair, we’ve had his number. He hadn’t done shite.
When a guy is hitting .320 and he’s 0-4, do you know what that means? It means he’s due for a hit, that’s why his fricking average is .320, not .170.

Continue to post this as if it matters at all.

Continue to ignore conference numbers or post season numbers.

It's not a tough decision.

Now hang up and stop posting.
