The Kool Aid is flowing freely on the rant.

maybe the comparison here is that Joe isn't the greatest athlete in the world (by all accounts he doesn't have the pure arm that Myles does) but makes up for that by understanding everything around him, by being smart.
Sounds like Peyton Manning.

Hell I was talking to a buddy (Bama fan) last night whose daughter graduated from OSU. They are going to the OSU vs TCU game the 2nd week. He mentioned that my niece who I always mess with is now finally an LSU fan because of Jeaux.
Is it your buddy’s daughter or your brothers?
Or...?

Did you know that Tom Brady struggled to hold on to the starting job at Michigan his senior year?

He might end up being a contender but to say he’s a legitimate contender right now is retarded.
What are you basing this off? Garbage time, spring game?
I think he’ll be good but pump the brakes. There are still concerns on the OL and an OC who hasn’t ran his own offense in 20 years and wasn’t very successful when he did.

You know if this guy was Tom Brady, he’d be starting for Ohio State right?
Brady didn't sniff playing time until he was a Junior. He spent his Senior year splitting time with Drew Henson. But of course I'm sure a smart arse like you already knew that.

I’m ridin and I like the Brady comparison

What would be amazing is seeing thousands of Ohio st fans making the trip to Tiger stadium for the Alabama game chanting along with LSU fans, "Saban Blows, Go Joe."
That's definitely possible

Tom Brady didn't even start until his Junior and Senior seasons, and I don't even know the talent they had ahead of him.. but OSU has pretty good talent.

OSU running Back Mike Weber made the comparison of Burrow to Brady over a year ago on his Twitter..Burrow was very popular with his Buckeye teammates and with him being from Ohio (prototypical small town country boy who is POY in his state and gets a scholly from the home school) Joe was recruited hard by Tom Herman, and it was Herman and Luke Fickel who convinced Urban to sign him...
Buckeye Twitter on “National Joe Day” that went viral with Burrow winning a tough man competition show of strength against a soon to be starting linebacker Pete Werner sums up his personality and will and why he has such a huge following..
I too, am one of many Buckeye fans who will make the trip to LSU, to see Burrow play..the sports talk shows in central Ohio have stayed on the Burrow story, as have a huge contingent of Buckeye fans who are now LSU fans
Joe has the talent, the work ethic, the demeanor to be very good. He was neck and neck with Haskins to be the starter this year- and until his injury that required surgery a week before the first game last year, he was next in-line...
That “infamous” injury could now be looked upon as a silver lining for Joe Burrow’s career and LSU’s season

Ohio St fans are a lot like LSU fans with their passion for football, I clearly got that impression when one of their teams came to a loud Tiger Stadium and played LSU tough, the final score was 10-10. Now it appears that thousands of Buckeye fans across the nation are Tiger fans. It's such a cool story.

I clearly got that impression at the 2007 NCG in NO. Buckeye fans everywhere! I was nervous we were outnumbered lol. And they were sooooooo much better than Oklahoma fans in 2003....what a bunch douchebags they were.

Brady spent a lot of time on the pine at Michigan
Brady started 25 games at Michigan. He threw for 4773 yds in 2 seasons and had a passer rating of 138. For reference, Eli Manning's passer rating in college was 137. John Elways was 139. Pro drafts are not a good qualifier. Pro scouts miss way more than they hit. Joe Montana was taken in the 4th round but everyone knew he was amoung the best in college in college coming out.
I've watched college football for 50 years and when Bama played Mich, the only qb I'd ever seen that was better than Brady was Peyton Manning and that was by a hair. Brady was not an unknown. Just idiot GM's who look at speed, shuttle runs and whatever they do at that stupid combine. Look at film and you see how good Brady was. It was no surprise at all he became what we know today. More than anything, the Mich, tailback oriented system didn't fit Brady. Lloyd Carr even said that his sophomore camp he had outplayed Brian Griese but Carrs philosophy was to play the upper classman. Had he played at a Tennessee or Florida state at that time, he is in the college football hall of fame.

This SUCKS !!!
I have always hated the Ohio State Buckeyes. Like what the hell is a buckeye anyway?
Hell, I even had a niece who went to OSU. Her dad asked me if I was going to like the Buckeyes and I told him I would try. I couldn't. To top it off my niece was more of an obnoxious Buckeye fan than my sister and her Saints. Every time the Buckeyes won I would get tweets, in the big games every time they scored. I hated OSU more than I did before she went there.
BUT you people and the whole fanbase and team are making it pretty damn hard to continue with my conviction about yall.
Now that OSU fans have become LSU fans I just can't hate you anymore. DAMN !!@!#!
WELCOME ABOARD and GEAUX TIGERS AND GEAUX BUCKEYES !!!

Happy National Joe Day !!! The SOB did this after losing a shoe and just wearing a sock on one foot on a slick court. That's DETERMINATION

Man I know it takes time. I for one look for week 3 for things to start really clicking. But if he just comes out and dices that secondary up. Man Twitterverse will explode. The hype train will need more room. The media who has slammed LSU and O will all jump on using the “LSU just needed a qb” on offense crutch

Ohio St players are paying tribute to LSU's QB Joe Burrow on Twitter along with many Ohio St fans, he's popular enough that some of those same fans want to make a trip to see Burrow play in Tiger Stadium. Bet that'll be a wild experience for many who do!
Just imagine how wild it is going to be when we play Ohio St at the end of the year!
