LSU's offensive coach needs to go uptempo more or go home!

LSU's talent is built for the uptempo style of offense, last night proved that LSU has the receivers and QB that can run it.

no. what we need is a QB who can stand in the pocket.

You could have Tom Brady back there with sean Payton calling the plays, it wouldn’t make a difference with that shite offensive line.

Denbrook is the ultimate nepotism, living in the stone ages and appears to be in way over his head.

We need offensive lineman before anything happens. The offense looked much better in the second half; there was an obvious adjustment.

The reason we got our asses handed to us early is the FSU's D was getting pressure and our play calling simply let them get their breath between plays.
You shift to an upbeat tempo and quick routes early and the D will gas themselves.
Use the quick passing game to set up the longer passes and power run down later in the game.

Not all the time, but he should have done so in the 2nd qtr knowing the offense was struggling. Waiting until you are down 2 TDs and desperate shows a lack of feel for your team or the game.
Daniels needs to stay in the pocket and go through his reads and keep his eyes downfield. Travis was under the same pressure but bought time in the pocket until a receiver uncovered. Daniels instinct is one read and run. He started to figure it out at the end so hopefully he will build on his pocket awareness.

I can agree with is. It puts the def on their back foot and limits their ability to counter at the line. You have use the offense that best helps them have an advantage. This will help the OL, QB.

Just hope Denbrock isn't Cam Cameron 2.0, an older guy with totally conservative, unimaginative play-calling.

Our D is going to suck this year. We have to accept that.
Why inhibit our offense when our D is likely to fail, ultimately? That ensures you have a bad offense and defense

You all can keep saying this until you’re blue in the face, but it’s simply not true. Joe Borrow/Joe Brady showed that an elite QB and play caller can turn a bad OL into a great one.
You couldn’t see it on TV, but there were quick hits that were open if Daniels could have recognized the defense pre-snap and known where to go with the ball.

Agree. LSU has to go more uptempo on offense, unless they like losing.

Joe Burrow was a once in a lifetime QB. Literally. And as great as Boutte is and we’ve been told Malik Nabers is/can be, they are not currently in the same universe as a duo as Chase and Jefferson were. Nuss may wind up being the better option, but he’s not turning that OL we saw last night into even a mediocre unit. And I know we like to give all the credit for that ‘19 line to Burrow/Chase/Jefferson, and Clyde, but all 6 of the guys that started on it throughout the year made an NFL 53 as rookies. And 3 of them started that very next season as rookies (Cush, Lewis, and Charles before he got hurt). That was a really, really good line.

That very well may be, but you’re right, we couldn’t see it on tv, so it’s almost impossible to make any judgements on Daniels regarding that. We who watched on tv simply didn’t have enough information and will have to rely on guys who were either there or watched the All-22 and understand what they’re looking at. Jeremy Hill agrees with you. But I heard another who didn’t, necessarily.
Hopefully more guys will watch the film and not be afraid to give their honest evaluations. I like to hear from guys like Hester and Flynn who played in the NFL and had to learn to expertly watch film in order to keep their jobs. I do know Flynn was more impressed with Nuss when he saw him, but he, admittedly, only saw 1 practice. And I can’t imagine our OL was getting blown up in that practice like they were last night.

Daniels actually said this post game. He stated fast pace is where they are at their best & most efficient. He took the blame for not pushing the pace the first half. He also said that is the offense the coaches want out of this team (very fast pace). They simply didn’t execute until it was too late.

We don’t have the bodies on D to do that. Oh and don’t look now or let facts get in the way, but we did exactly that as of the 2nd possession of the 2nd half.

Game film from the end zone. Shows all 22 men and the entire field. It’s what coaches use to scheme and gameplan.
