Shaver isn't a good coach and if you think he is you're a moron. Tiger1988 is 100% right about that. He's done jack shite since taking over for Pat Henry. If he doesn't win at least the men's title this year he should be fired.

When are you going to provide an answer for any of this?

Give us documented instances of the following people scoring at the national meet:

#67 in the 100
#44 in the 110 hurdles
#60 and #68 in the 200
#95 in the pole vault
#39 and #51 in the javelin

When you fail to do that, try telling us what kids Arkansas women and Texas tech men got through that they weren’t supposed to and won them the championships in 2019.

He’s not only an avg coach, he has not been good to former athletes and coaches. He’s driven by profiting off of former athletes that make it to the world level events instead of using those successes to elevate the program.

Arkansas is a cross country power house and had damn near 3/4 of the points scorers in the final event. Arkansas distance runners are volume scorers in the SEC championship when every team qualifies and the points are distributed between 14 teams. The points are much more spread out in the national tournaments.

As soon as you admit that Shaver shouldn’t have been fired with the cheating issue stripping that last title.

the men had to get PRs and still finished in lower positions at regionals. How do you think they will finish in e NCAAs.

Go look at all the athletes this year and watch the points. Same shite, different season.

Shaver is an underachiever and has 1 legitimate title since 2004 when he was hired. His predecessor won to the day he left.

You’re an idiot is you believe he isn’t on the hot seat knowing that Scott saw a real coach in Henry at LSU and TAMU. Dummy

Yea college track is weird like that.

Conference titles really don’t mean shite when you have a shot of winning a natty.

How many Texas relays have you been to? How about NCAAs? SEC Championships?
I attended Pat’s first of many. I’ve been to every one that was in LSU and UT and Oregon twice.

Here is what I do know. You get the kids through that are expected and you have a shot. It is the kids that are NOT expected to get through that win the titles for you.

I know many of y’all are not attending because there are very few that have my skin color in attendance. I know that much.
damn all that time at meets and still not a clue. What a waste

How many times are you going to try to change the subject to avoid answering for all the stupid shite you’ve posted?

Stop being a bitch and answer the questions that have been posed to you 4 times in this thread.

I’ve not once changed the topic moron. I had a thread got whacked from positing what I just posted to you.

Keep defending Shaver.

LSU doesn’t win a title AGAIN THIS YEAR.

When that happens, my guess is you will be back in your hole.

All I need to see were the number of PRs from the women and men they had over the weekend.

Your initial post was completely idiotic. Of those that missed that were at regionals a lot of them were lucky to be in regionals in the first place much less advancing past that.

And honestly I’m not sure you can shay shaver has underachieved. Track has consistently been a top 10 team at nattys. There’s so much damn turnover and so many different variables in collegiate track that that’s pretty damn impressive. This whole “national champs or bust” narrative is ruining college sports

How many does TAMU have now coming from NOTHING since 2004? In our own conference mind you. Top Ten? Wow. The last championship was 2008 women outdoor. 2004 was Pat’s whole freaking team that was excellent the year before.

Somewhat achieving in Track out to be 1 either indoor or outdoor championship every few years at the latest.

Don’t give me the parity bull shite argument either.

He didn’t continue the excellence we were used to the previous 2 HCs.

I can agree with that but there’s something to be said for having a top 10 program year in and year out.

I mean it’s a fair argument

so his standard is to be as good as one of the best coaches of all time? That’s pretty ridiculous

No one cares about PRing at regionals. The only thing that matters for potential scorers is making it to Eugene. See Harrison only taking one attempt in the LJ

Youve gone from bitching about the 9 people that didn’t advance from regionals that weren’t supposed to and saying those are the people that win championships, to lamenting about white people at track meets, to bowerman winners and finalists, to saying shaver shouldn’t have been fired after the 2012 championship was taken away, to now whining about people not PRing at regionals.

All you’ve done throughout this thread is change the subject while proving over and over you don’t know shite about how track works, and you’re too much of a bitch to answer the questions directed towards your very first posts in the thread. Here they are again, for the 5th time:

Give us documented instances of the following people scoring at the national meet:

#67 in the 100

You've said some dumb things in this thread, but this takes the cake. This isn't high school track.

Take my advice, bro. Head on over back to Letsrun with all the other angry weeb washed up distance runners. That place is definitely more your speed.
