would never really know that. he wasn't pitching a complete game today. they would have had their opportunities against the same relief pitchers.

right. he looked great, but their lineup could have hit a bomb against him at some point. and still we would have gone to the same relief pitchers at some point.

I’m not saying they should have let him pitch 5 or 6 innings but taking him out before he has a chance to finish the third was dumb. But what do I know? Just a retard on tiger rant

If Ack would have gotten hurt in the 4th you would complain why keep him in so long in a game.

So, it's more important to your dumb arse to win this "trophy" game than for a coach to be working towards the "biggest trophy" game by having a pitcher rested and with his confidence high.
