re: LSU Won 24-3. The blatant cheating by the SEC still has me irrationally angry....

5 booth reviews last night. Clemson won them all.
That's only thing that needs to be said about officiating.

There was also an obvious hold on Whit Weeks when Klubnik got a big run for 1st down on their TD drive.

Yes, LSU won. Congrats, you cracked the code.
But newsflash: this is a forum. People are going to talk about stuff beyond the final score….like, oh I don’t know, the string of questionable calls (or lack thereof) against the #3 team in the country.
Wild concept, right? Discussion…on a discussion board. And being you’re not a Moderator, I would suggest just shutting up.

I saw that too and it pissed me off. frick this conference. I’ve had it with the obvious game tilting.

Stupid. One of my friends is the ref from Lafayette.
Did he enjoy his view of a top tier Heisman player being launched at/targeted/then concussed against Bama two years ago? I thought these guys were supposed to protect these players, especially the QBs. That blatant cheap shot damn near cost Daniels a start or two in his Heisman season.
He may be a good guy but that doesn’t mean his crew isn’t making or not making obvious calls. Last night was beyond shameful, but completely expected at this point.

Clemson is not in the SEC. The blind refs were also not in the SEC.

Maybe he should have stayed home. If he wasn’t cheating, then he and his crew are just plain BAD at their jobs.

Refs are bad at their jobs. No conspiracy, no fixing, they just generally suck.

Wrong. This crew has fricked over LSU before. See Jayden Daniels being concussed on a cheap shot in 2023.

You are right. The announcer said they were ACC refs at the start of the game.

At least 3-4 times we saw Clemson line up with too many men on the LOS, then run a pass play.
no such thing as too many on LOS.
all that does is determine who is/isn’t eligible as a receiver.

Can you explain why that play was within the rules?
Defender and offensive player were beyond the neutral zone. Is it just because the throw didn’t cross the line of scrimmage? That’s the only element that isn’t satisfied, but the rules don’t necessarily make that clear on a pick play.
Regardless, that’s a blind side block if not offensive pass interference. He is covering an eligible receiver beyond the neutral zone and gets taken out of the play.
Way too cute of a rule interpretation, and I really don’t see how him coming back near the line of scrimmage made any difference in the call. Both players were beyond that mark.
You can't have OPI, or DPI for that matter, if the pass doesn't cross the LOS.

The one that infuriates me is the pick play. You can block 2 yards past the line of scrimmage. You cannot blind side hit a player though. That would have made it 4th and 17, and forced them to punt. Obviously the touchdown was wrong too, but I’ve given up on whats considered a catch now.
Do we have a clip of this play?

Jesus fricking Christ man. You guys cry about the refs even after a huge win.
Enjoy the big win on the road against a top 5 opponent and stfu pussy.

This game had it all. Shades of many past fixings by the SEC
Help me understand how the SEC benefits from sending an SEC crew to go frick an SEC team in a road game with an ACC opponent.
Thanks in advance.

There was a pass interference on Green on the first drive of the game. The DB clearly grabbed the jersey, which stopped Green from getting to the ball.
Posted on 8/31/25 at 4:56 pm to Nutriaitch
Well if you have more or less than 7 on the line of scrimmage it's an illegal formation.
Posted on 8/31/25 at 4:59 pm to Jd75189
It was NOT a touchdown. You HAVE to control the ball all the way to the ground. Pass incomplete...no TD
Other calls or no calls to argue....sure. Happens every single game
