LSU will not get voted out. Sankey/SEC is sending a message and establishing framework

This is all retarded what they are doing but it makes sense
In my opinion...
There is ZERO chance LSU is voted out Thursday. Especially while there is much legal uncertainty about players rights and the SEC Federal lawsuit.
Sankey/SEC is laying an escalation framework right now to show they can do it in the future (if they so decide they need to). 1. They've already announced the punishments the SEC can deliver (suspensions etc) and 2. now adding the final step of expulsion. (AGAIN IF THEY NEED IT)
This also gives them a very convenient escalation off ramp in the immediate future while the court cases play themselves out. I.E. After Thursday they come out and say SEC members voted to keep LSU in the conference but "have serious concerns with LSU" if they don't shape up while the legal battle plays out.

I agree… and it’s unfortunate they couldn’t do their job from the beginning and establish framework for the class of 2022 from the get go. Pathetic bunch of teet sucking leeches.

So sick of seeing this. Its already been reported by sources like Finebaum, and you can downvote me into oblivion, but hes repeatedly said this would happen and its happening.
The vote will be 15 - 0 in favor of expelling LSU.

What if the members view this insanity and realize they would not want to face such absurd and arbitrary vindictiveness and all vote no? More egg on Sankey's face? I find the SEC's claims borderline crank/unhinged. They were pissed that LSU exploited a loophole and tried to pass an ex post facto rule that banned "pro athletes" without realizing they had no working definition of "pro athlete". It is truly hilarious.

They called a vote. They are voting on something. And the press says whether or not to expel LSU.

There is zero point in holding a vote if all they are trying to do is establish framework that allows them to kick LSU out.
I find it highly unlikely Sankey did this without consulting other SEC members.
