Does anyone know what’s up with the On3 transfer rankings?
They had us in the 30s and TX Tech 1, Kansas, Rutgers and Cal all in the top 10

Because they factor in players lost in the portal as well an the ratio of stars lost to stars gained.
Ole Miss for example is up something like four 4 stars and 3 three stars and lost 10 three stars, no 5 stars and no 5 stars
LSU on the other hand gained 3 four stars and 6 three stars but lost 2 four stars and 14 three stars.
It creates a "ratio" comparing what was lost to what was gained.

Some people get WAAYYY too worked up about meaningless nonsense.
Who cares about any rankings? The only ranking that matters is the final Selection Committee ranking. All others, including recruiting rankings, are irrelevant.
Just win on Saturdays in the fall and that's all that matters.

Jackson and Delane are highly regarded CBs obtained this cycle in the portal. Plus, LSU signed the #1 CB out of HS. But yeah, unless someone moves to safety out of the bunch, LSU needs to go after a couple of safeties if possible in addition to at least one OL and one DT. And of course a punter who can punt more than 40 yards.
