Bella should have gotten a shitload of Flaujae’s minutes which would have resulted in more W’s.

Well, Flaujae won't be here next year and what does Bella do? Leaves. So, I guess that is not the problem.
The only thing I can see is that LSU will be getting a starting 2 guard from the portal and Bella or Bella's dad didn't like that.
I guess we shall see in the next couple of weeks.

Would have loved for her to stay but honestly not a big deal. Was more worried Milaysia was going to transfer given she wasn’t starting.

Yeah, I should have said, "backup" 2 guard from the portal. Milaysia will start next year.
Maybe she thought she had passed up Milaysia to start next year, or that Milaysia would transfer.

That would be a completely out of touch thought.

Knox and Z are definitely the best from the freshman class
So far. Hines might very well change that. I'm still hoping they pay her.

McGill was kind of a surprise in the portal? last tattood slightly unstable stud worked out well so I’m in..

That's what I'm afraid of. Knox and Z are definitely the best from the freshman class. Hope they both stay. Something really needs to be done about the transfer portal across all sports. It's become the wild west our there.
Grace and Zakiyah are not leaving. They already about to move into apartments for next season rooming together. They’ll also be on campus this summer

I really liked Bella and was looking forward to her develop but the last thing we need is drama. I trust CKM on whether she should be "welcomed back".
I have a feeling some bridges have been burnt with the videos, player interviews etc. just taking place and everyone expecting her to stay.

Nobody is going to really care if you are starting at Rutgers or TCU.
Exactly - see that blond hair girl who played for LSU.
I forgot her name

She was scrappy and cute but not that good... we'll be ok there's plenty of better guards that'll love to take her spot. Good luck young lady.. hopefully the money is worth it because he's already at a quality university with a bright future but it's her life..

I think was an entirely different situation. Van Lith was already a star at Louisville, but wanted to come here to try and learn point. That experiment didn't work so well and there was a ton of team drama and bullshite that was going on that year, so I don't fault her at all for going somewhere else to be a shooting guard again.
Bella is entirely different in that she doesn't want to wait her turn or compete for the minutes. She'd rather be an immediate plug-in player at some other school. As someone else said - no chest.

Kim Mulkie loves Bella and was gonna make sure she was gonna make it to the pro within her growth and process. These kids have no loyalty or patience. She's never gonna get me love anywhere else I'm sorry to say but she's gonna regret this Decision I'm sad to say.

i think im kinda done blaming all this on bella. anyone who heard her dad's twitter rant can clearly see that this was probably more his decision (and the agent's) than hers.
let's face it--bella will probably never make a wnba roster. if she can transfer somewhere and make $200K next year, and another $200-300 in the college years after that,so be it. when i left college, i left with debt, not a net of $500K! if she and her family can somehow invest that money and turn it into something decent, that's a nice way for a 22-year-old to start her life.

This is a good post. I don't join in with those saying she isn't that good. This is all about getting love thru nil. Her dad seems greedy, but is chasing money and stardom for his kid. I wanted her here next yezr, but this is life with the portal. We win more than we lose in the portal. Time to move on.

I’m not interested in reading it, but I see a piece where Hines’s attention whore dad now claims there is “something more” to the story of his daughter transferring.
Sounds like he thinks he is a celebrity because his daughter is a good—not great—college basketball player.
Someone tell him nobody here gives a shite. Good riddance. Keep parents like this far far away from this program.

Good for Divine. Hope it works out for her.
Illinois is a decent program but too bad these kids do not realize that they’d get way more exposure and visibility on Kim Mulkey’s bench at LSU than they would starting at Illinois—unless they are another Seimone Augustus.
Anyway, wish her well.
