Well, if Tulane people can't understand that UNC with Butch Davis at the helm is better for LSU than the entire Tulane series, then it goes to show that their high profile academics aren't worth crap. Great move by LSU, UNC and Atlanta for this game. If Tulane people don't understand this, then they're as dumb as dirt. Looks like Tulane's avg attendance will fall drastically with the cancellation of the series. But then, they anounced there were 27,000 at the Tulsa game last weekend and there weren't more than 4,000 at the game....and that's being generous. Looks like the brainiacs on St.Charles Ave can't count either.

LSU - UNC in Atlanta opening the college football season.....gotta love it!

That's the way to put Tulane on the back burner were they belong.

UNC will be an extremely dangerous team under Butch Davis next season.

That will be a challenging opener.

Additionally, we play West Virginia in Tiger Stadium a few weeks later. No one will complain about our OOC schedule next year.

West Virginia

Is going to be really, really shitty come next season. Hell they already are, they gave up 20 to Liberty last week and will probably get owned by Auburn next week.

Well, send all 20 of the $50 each.

Who could possibly care what a tulane fan thinks.

Tulane's football program wont exist in a few years. Football loses too much money every year. They came close to being dropped to D-II after last year merely on lack of ticket sales.

Tulane losing the series with us will most certainly drop them to D-II or drop them completely.

What a shame. they were in the SEC, won the first Sugar Bowl, and are now on the brink of extinction.

Molton leaving just frees up another scholly for next year. Injury must have been worse than reported. Depth at WR probably played into his decision to leave.

this.

it sucks that he is leaving and wish him all the best. hopefully he doesn't show up on the opposing sideline in 2 years or so.

At least Alabama won't be playing. Should be a great game. Ya'll should be ranked top 5-10 and UNC should have the experience and depth to perform in a game like this. LSU in big games= trouble for other team. glad we didn't get ya'll

DD reports that the UNC series starts in 2019. More typos from the Dandy One.

"Also, Coach Miles has confirmed what I reported a few months ago that LSU will open the 2019 season against North Carolina in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome. "

We need these kind of games every year. I hate scheduling pancakes......they don't all have to be top tier but for god sake, lets plays teams from just the top six conferences.
