Good. Let’s hope it stays that way to start the season. We don’t deserve it yet.

As we should be until proven otherwise.

Based on last year and the “talent” presently lined-up to play next year, unranked is logical.

CBK doesn’t score TDs.

But you are good with Texas A&M at #4?

We have a lot more question marks with a staff overhaul and roster changes. A&M is loaded with talent and will look really good then do what they do and crash and burn.

USCe finished the season strong and got Spencer Rattler.

They’re unranked in the SI too early poll as well while teams like Tenn, Wake Forest, Coastal Carolina, Purdue and Houston made it. Now I don’t think the Tigers should be any higher than 18/19, but to see the teams that are ranked sort of surprised me.

Expect even less love from the national media after we "stole" media darling Notre Dame's coach. LSU will only be given respect when the media is forced to do so, which isn't really any different than normal. That being said, they've yet to earn any respect after the last two seasons. That will change though.

Curious, which do you think warrant LSU being ranked?

1 the hemorrhaging of players to the NFL and transfer portal
2 the somewhat meager recruiting class
3 not filling the 81(self imposed from 85) player scholarship limit
4 the first losing seasons this millennium
5 the completely new, not quite finished coaching staff

pick all that apply

Maybe the South Carolina love is for Spencer Rattler, South Carolina did beat North Carolina in their bowl game, so there's that positive note on direction.

Ags have QB issues. Ags lost best RB they have had in recent years. Ags lost most of their top defensive players. Ranked 4 based on? The freshman recruits? Jimbos ability (with a much better/experienced roster in 21 than 22) to lose to Arkansas, Ole Miss, Ms State and a roster-depleted LSU in his supposed breakout year?
