That LSU didn't have a single 1st down in the 1st half. I remember the offense struggling, but I forgot it was that bad.

Arkansas UGA and Alabama games were all similar in a row. Special teams and defense could over come the offense.

Huge red flag going into the national title was our passing in that game Jordan Jefferson was

5/13 for 30 yards in the entire fricking game.

fricking Less wasted so much talent

That team had Rueben Randle, Odell Beckham and Jarvis Landry

I remember him sending in Lee to take a knee too- slap in the face

How bad Jordan Jefferson sucks?

Dude was terrible.
Fact Lee didn’t start second half is mind boggling

It’s not like they had the SEC leader in pass efficiency on the bench

We were seriously struggling offensively after the Alabama game in 2011. We eventually would get a spark in games, but I remember being very worried in both the Arkansas and Georgia games.

It's part of the reason I still say TM7 was the most impressive Tiger I've ever seen. Burrow is obviously on another level in terms of statistics and poise, but they are so different in terms of how they affect the game. And I've never seen anyone play a position that was supposed to have such little effect on a game in a way that flipped games on their heads. TM7 did something very few people in the history of the game could do.

I forgot how Verne kept carping about TM7 releasing the ball before crossing the plane for the TD. He just wouldn't let it go.

I didn’t remember UNC suspended almost their entire starting defense the night before the 2010 opener. Jordan still threw for 150 yards.

It was a precursor to the NCG. Unfortunately, the HC was too stubborn to make adjustments heading into that game. I guess he just assumed Bama would roll out the same gameplan that resulted in a loss in Nov.

GOAT defense... and now we’ve had the GOAT offense

Combine the 2011 D with the 2019 O and you might have to take that “could they beat an nfl team?” thread seriously.

Quite a few LSU players on both sides of the ball still in the NFL today. No offensive lineman though. People harp on JJ and play calling, and rightfully so, but you could lay the same amount of blame on the o-line.
