Don't let Pawl making February coaching moves distract you from the fact these guys are picking up where they left off last year and still can't hit out of a wet paper bag.

Bianco is going to hit the cover off the ball despite .07 average last year is what I heard.

Air Force won’t finish .500 this year.

Paul can still make shitty moves and we can still be shite hitters. They aren’t mutually exclusive. There was no strategic reason to see one of our senior pitchers throw two days in a row.

Yes. In fact he's the Joe Brady of Baseball.

Preach

Pitching is fine when the starters go 6ip

Thing is, your margins are super slim when you don’t have the defense part of “pitching & defense”.

Hard to do it with an offense that at best will be average

I hate the job PM has done building this roster. 3rd year in a row with major holes

Funny part is we win this game easily if CPM doesnt start Hellmers...and instead keeps Arnold in the lineup.

Very likely. Not playing Arnold was inexcusable

I left Pierre Part at 1:00pm heading back to Central. LSU did not get a single hit the entire 1.5 hour drive home.

Sad.

I find it amazing Nolan Cain’s full time job is assembling a roster that’s always been poorly constructed since day one

They’ll probably host and our rantard fanbase will be ecstatic because they have ridiculously low standards for a program that was the Alabama football of college baseball less than 20 years ago.

If we get lucky and host a regional, barely beat some shite nobody team in the supers, then get railroaded in Omaha, you’ll have Hold That Tiger 10 and Elleshoe singing Paul’s praises for the next 5 years. The rant baseball superfan dumbasses are the worst part about the fact that we’ve become a middle of the pack SEC baseball program and objectively do not look like a good team to anyone who knows anything about baseball.

This team is going to swing-and-miss a lot. We got rid of the 5'7" slappys and replaced them with some bigger more physical kids. The good news is that Crews is a Dawg and it appears that Morgan is better than most thought offensively.
Arnold seems to be an offensive weapon. If and its a BIG if but if you get a big year from Beloso, Doughty and one of Bianco/Dugas, you could have a very potent lineup.

I would love to see a lineup of:

!-Gio/Morgan(seems like a guy who will have a high OBP)
2-Doughty/Arnold
3-Crews
4-Beloso
5-Gio/Morgan
6-Arnold/Doughty
7-Dugas
8-Bianco
9-Millazo

I know it looked like same ol same ol this weekend but there's some pop in that lineup.

I don't mind some higher K totals if our HR total goes up. Our pitching will be good enough that we won't need 6+ runs to win very often.

If I'm PM, I roll that highest offensive potential lineup out there and live with the defense. Bianco may be a complete bust his entire career or he may figure it out and hit 10 bombs. I'd put him at 3rd and roll with him. If you get to conference and he still ain't hitting, then you determine if you need to upgrade defense. Hellmers/Thompson don't have the offensive upside Bianco does, even though he's been miserable to this point in his career.
