If LSU has a starting rotation of
Fri-Schmidt
Sat-Evans
Sun-Rizy
Can they win in the SEC (better than.500)?

We will be heavy in the portal for starting arms and big bats

What has Schmidt shown you to be the Friday guy over Evans?

How about let's just enjoy this season especially now with the portal and NIL playing significant rolls in how college sports work going forward.

Yeah, without knowing who will be in the portal, this is pissing in the wind.

Trey Beard from FAU will be highly sought after. There's a handful of Big West guys that will get attention.

Way too early for this. We are the #1 team in the country THIS season, with 1 series left in the regular season. Let’s enjoy this season, and hopefully a ride to Omaha, and all the way to a title. It’s not like we don’t have a chance and throwing in the towel. #1 team in the country right now.

Also to play into your question, LSU will head to the portal again. This day and age, you can’t make anymore roster predictions for the next season in any sport. The only guys I see with a chance at starting rotation next season, is Evans, and Schmidt. Jay will go into the portal again, for another 1-2 potential starters.

Yeah, but he's draft eligible. I don't think Beard is. Colter McAnnelly at Utah is another sophomore that has a big inning total and good performance in the Big 12. I think there is a chance Utah makes a change at HC too.

Is Bogenpohl expected to enter? I was up there a couple weeks ago and listened to parts of a couple games and some of the morning shows while driving around. They mentioned he was dealing with some kind of hand tweak situation?

I also had no idea they’re moving to CUSA.

ETA: Sorry to change subject from pitching.

Can we finish the 2025 baseball season, the 2025 football season, cry about our shitty MBB team but celebrate our great WBB team, THEN talk about 2026 baseball?

It’s likely that two of the weekend starters aren’t even in the team yet.

I haven’t asked my source about this lately. But I could see it happening, along with other things happening at Mo State.

At this point last season would you have said Anderson would be a great Friday night guy and projected to be a top 5 pick in the draft?
