Hard part is getting a QB that has passed for over 3K for past 2 years to stay for year 3.

Big Bens single season strikeout record
Big Ben's is only an SEC record. He got 202 SO on the season.
He didn't even have the most that season (1989). Brian Barnes at Clemson got 208 SO in '89.

Makes me sad to see the lack of enthusiasm
(Not blaming you, just stating the obvious that even the most ardent supporters of the LSU basketball program are fed up with the Johnny Jones era)
I am still going to the games, but it's like a soulless event now. Almost just going because that's just what I do, not because I want to.

Would you put Rohan Davey's 528 single game passing yards in that list? (love that this was against Bama)
I think this could get broken, but don't think a single receiver would have over 300 of those yards (Josh Reed).

I'm pretty sure Pete Maravich holds the freshman scoring records as well.

I'll start with Pistol Pete's 44.3 average points per game over 3 years.
ETA: That record will always hold - even at the national level.

And one could assume no one will break Faulk's career rushing record, simply because present day good RBs won't stick around 4 years
Seasons are longer now, and post season stats count in career numbers. Faulk played 41 games in 4 seasons. Assuming no playoffs and just a bowl game, a three year player could play in 39 games.

Five straight football wins over Bama (2003-2007).

Didn't Brandon Larson have over 100 RBI in a season or something crazy?
he had 40 homers.

When Alley Broussard set the single game rushing record (250 yds) in 2004 I knew the record would be broken but I didn't think it would take 12 years and I sure didn't think it would be surpassed three times in one season by two different backs.

Seventeen consecutive SEC basketball losses in a season not likely to be broken anytime soon
