He hurt his arm. This is meaningless.

Every time Nussmeier gets tackled now or sacked, he starts writhing on the ground. He’s a hypochondriac.

Idk why they were even testing him for one. His arm was what was hurting him

That was what I was thinking when it happened.

Brooks’ claims of being forced to practice even though he said he was sick.

Such BS. Brooks chose to practice.

To be clear, the Tua question refers to injuries he received during the 2022 season. The Dolphins allowed him to play when he shouldn't have.

It was very clear that he was affected by the first concussion way more than he thought. He played the next game and was a space cadet all the way through. He then went back under the protocol and missed several games.

That doesn't matter. If he wasn't cleared then they did something wrong. If he was, then it's on Tua.

I don't think Brooks was forced to practice. I think it was more along the lines of if you don't get reps you can lose your starting position.

I have worked in both Medical Malpractice and Insurance Defense.

When filing a complaint/claim, attorneys throw as much out there as they can. Some things stick, some don't .

I seriously doubt GB3 would be any better off physically had he had immediate treatment and not 6 weeks after initial complaints (if I am remembering correctly).

I mean who cares.
Harvard doctors also said we should mask outdoors during the pandemic.

To be fair, I’m sure that is close to how it went down, and makes perfect sense.

the biggest issue would be if there is documentation of. LSU delaying a cat scan or MRI when they reasonable should have known he needed one

I used to administer baseline concussion testing to high school athletes every year using software from ImPact, the same program used by the NFL and NCAA. The post-concussion protocol involved another examination with ImPact, to compare to the baseline. I was not involved in post-concussion testing, but the baseline took about 20 minutes to complete.

ImPACT

Obviously, if the team physician cleared him to play, then Kelly is completely off the hook.

Tua keeps wanting to play . After the seizure like activity several years ago … which was scary to watch … he should have retired . CTE is real .

2 things can happen on the same play. On the initial hit and wrap-up, something happened to his head or face, then his arm got pinned under him when taken to the ground. His actual diagnosis is all speculation anyway by anyone not examining him on the sideline.

During their defeat to Florida on Saturday night, Tigers quarterback Garrett Nussmeier was left lying on the floor in agony after being brutally sacked by two Gators defenders before slowly returning to his feet.

Please help me out here. I watched the entire game and never saw this "brutal" hit occur. I did see Nuss wimping (and possibly limping) greatly whenever he went down.

I doubt there is documentation of this. GB3 was puking and complaining of vertigo. That could be any number of symptoms for various illnesses.

I don't know what temps were on the days the team practiced but the heat was brutal. You can get dizzy from heat stroke.

All of this being said, if he felt that bad he should have talked to his parents and gone to a doctor outside of LSU football.

LSU medically screens their sports players pretty thoroughly (they never found a heart problem with Wally).

Also, no one would have ever imagined thar he would have a brain tumor. I don't know how soon you or I could get diagnostic tests scheduled. 6 weeks doesn't seem like a lot of time for this tumor to have gotten worse.
