Affix a new patch over the SEC patch or helmet decal with a cliched LSU themed catchphrase, like "Let's Geaux!" or "Hey, Now!"

Student section needs to do the clown t shirts. nothing will happen to the students, would be hilarious if everyone wore one on TV.

The amount of coordinated horrible things that will be yelled about Sankey out of the student section will be unreal. I don’t know if he will be able to stomach it.

At this point, if LSU were to do any of that, they would be dismissed from the SEC.
I know we like to talk tough but at this point the SEC is the best option we have because it is a known entity. ACC would not garner as much attention or money. Big 10 would have us taking a paycut for the first several years... Independence (despite what some think) would not be good for LSU long term.
The SEC is our best fit and always has been.
Its time we just let this crap die down and go stack bodies all season win the SEC and NC.
I know we like to talk tough but at this point the SEC is the best option we have because it is a known entity. ACC would not garner as much attention or money. The SEC will do everything in it's power to rig games against LSU and ensure LSU doesn't win the SEC, in probably any sport.
Absolutely not. At this point LSU will never get a fair shake from the SEC, even long after this. How many bad calls will conveniently not go our way? They won't even try to hide it anymore.
LSU does not need the SEC. The Big 12 would absolutely take the non-football LSU sports and LSU football would be independent. And I'm absolutely not convinced that the Big 10 wouldn't be very interested in LSU and getting into the heart of the south and SEC territory. It would be wonderful for the Big 10 and another disastrous setback for the SEC.
I wouldn't even mind if the Big 10 made LSU take a pay cut the first few years. Anything to get out of the SEC. The LSU-SEC relationship is irrevocably broken.

It's a non conference game that doesn't involve the SEC. Why would LSU not be able to cover up or flat out remove the SEC logo?

Not sure if there is a fine associated with doing that or not. But I would say we need all the $ we can muster until this thing is settled so we don't need to do anything like that.
