Bama will run down LSU's throats. Saban will keep jd5 off the field. By mid 3rd quarter our d will quit and bama will pull away. We will have the lowest scoring output of the year Sat imo. Saban aint stupid. They gonna run between the tackles all night till we quit.
Yep that’s going it be his plan. That’s why I’ve said multiple times, all the focus is on our secondary but the game will be won or lost by the front 7

You haven't been following LSU football long, have you?
September 29, 1951 Mobile, AL LSU 13 - #9 Alabama 7
November 6, 1982 Birmingham, AL #11 LSU 20 - #8 Alabama 10
November 8, 1986 Birmingham, AL #18 LSU 14 - #6 Alabama 10 (2 loss/1 SEC loss to Ole Miss LSU vs 1 loss/0 SEC loss Alabama, this game ultimately decided the SEC champ)
November 6, 1993 Tuscaloosa, AL LSU 17 - #5 Alabama 13
November 3, 2001 Tuscaloosa, AL LSU 35 Alabama 21 (Alabama and LSU with 3 SEC losses each, the outcome ultimately decided the SEC west)
November 12, 2005 Tuscaloosa, AL #5 LSU 16 #4 Alabama 13OT

Yes. Historically we’ve done much better on the road vs Bama than at home.

Like they ran down Texas throat? Or south Florida? Their oline is dogshit. LSU’s weakness is the secondary, I pray their game plan is to run it.

good thing we’re adopting most of the Big 12 because defense is no longer an SEC trademark

You are the worst poster on this board. Bama is always accepting band wagon fans. Take your stupid arse over there.

Most of your posts are negative. You must hate your life or something. The other posts are just dumb, and you don't know what you are talking about lol. No one is trolling you. We are just calling you out. Go "root" for another team. This is not an alter dumb arse. I don't care enough to make an alter. If you are starting to question whether or not its an alter lol you should probably take a look at yourself. It's You're* by the way. You have the grammar of an alabama fan. You should join them.

Alabama is 8th in the SEC in rushing (LSU is 2nd by the way). They aren't a great rushing team (even though they performed well vs. Tennessee in the 2nd half). And even as shitty as LSU's defense has been this year, I think coming off a bye they will man-up and at least contain the run to some degree.
Alabama's passing offense hasn't been good. But they a capable of hitting the deep ball. Even when playing zone in an effort to keep everything in front of them, LSU's secondary can't stop the big play. And that was BEFORE LSU will have to turn to freshman CBs on Saturday.
I hope, hope, hope, I am wrong. But I just can't see a way Alabama doesn't at least score 30 in this game. 38 or so MIGHT be enough for LSU to win. But I think they will have to get into the 40's to feel really good about their chances.
If LSU scores 40+ and STILL can't win against a team that hasn't' scored more than 40 points against anyone other than MTSU, then House and the defensive staff need to be out the door. Because that would mean that in a year where ALL they had to do is be slightly below average they could not even accomplish that. Save the bullshite about injuries, personnel, depth, and transfers. It would be a complete failure on the part of the defensive staff.

Give me 42 and I'll be confident
Posted on 10/29/23 at 11:15 am to udtiger
50 or more and we steal a possession and/or the d/st scores somehow.

Posted on 10/29/23 at 11:27 am to udtiger
Not sure I'd feel confident with 70 points. Not sold on our defense.
Posted on 10/29/23 at 11:28 am to udtiger
Won’t take that many but we will score more.
Posted on 10/29/23 at 11:39 am to udtiger
I think 42 will be enough to do it. I can’t see Bama’s offense being able to post that even against our defense.

I noticed you didn't respond to a single poster who posted factual and/or statistical analysis of why you were wrong. Just the ones who said you were an idiot or agreed with you.
Your take is terrible. Alabama has one rusher who goes over 5 ypc (4 of LSU's primary ball carriers have 5, except emery with 4.9).
Milroe is not an elite runner. He is big and fast, but makes poor decisions and takes a ton of sacks (5th most in FBS, compared to LSU who is pretty middle of the pack).
Milroe also is not a good passer. All he has shown he can do is throw a decent deep ball. Their running game isn't good enough to where you need to stack the box every play. Run off ball, deep coverage in the defensive backfield (something House loves to do) and you win this game 2 to 3 scores.
Alabama got embarrassed by Texas, at Home. LSU has a better record in BDS than they do at LSU. This is not big bad scary "bama". This is an above average SEC team that lacks their usual plethora of top end talent on both sides of the ball.
LSU 45 - Alabama 27.

I’m thinking we need into the 40s to have a chance to win. I just don’t see our defense holding them under 40
