Is losing to Wake Forest and NC State “improving” now?

I think we'd still be ranked 5th if we only had the UT loss on our schedule. Just win out and we're in.

FSU should be in the Top 10 because when we played Wake and NC State our roster was depleted with injuries especially on the line and we would be favored in those games today.

Lol, NC State is arguably the worst team in the ACC right now and were only slightly better with Leary at QB. Of course FSU would be favored if they played now

LSU should have opened with Southern.

The point is LSU played what was expected to be a tough game right out of the gate. That should be and apparently has been rewarded.

This.

I'm happy FSU is trending up. Helps our SOS.

I just think the Cmte greatly discounts a close P5 loss in week 1, especially when the other team had a warm-up game already. One big reason is because the Cmte doesn't want to punish P5 teams who schedule good OOC games. Sends the wrong message.

No, LSU not moving Southern to Week 1 like FSU did with their schedule is the difference. Leadership at the top of the Athletic Department owns this one.

I liked playing FSU but the timing was not ideal. New staff and players would’ve benefited from a tuneup game

Yall are in year 3 of your coach and scrambled to schedule a week zero game while LSU was in year one of a completely new team and coaches who were still in the process of figuring out who could play where and it still took a blocked extra point from a missed block by a true freshman who had never played special teams in his life to save yalls asses...

Yall might have improved, but not to the level LSU has and I look forward to seeing LSU clap yalls cheeks next season...

I actually agree with you. We lost. Under different circumstances we likely win, but we lost. The committee doesn’t seem to be penalizing us much for the loss right now though.

Losing so bad at home is really a killer. It was such a screwball game too. No way should the score have been so lopsided. Crazy turnovers and special teams and fourth down fails.

The Committee has consistently given credit to those scheduling at least 1 challenging OOC game. This year is no different.

They should've thought of this years in advance when they made the schedule. Other schools seem to be able to do this.

The difference is meaningless.

LSU will either beat Georgia which will completely outweigh your difference or they will lose making your difference moot.

You do realize that every SEC team is required to schedule at least 1 P5 OOC game right? We still had New Mexico southern and UAB. All cupcakes.
