That's such an LSU comment to make

Norman is easily a top college town to visit. Great fan base and tailgating

It's boring compared to Boulder, or Athens, or even Oxford. But I'll go there if LSU is playing a game

Will definitely be a fun road trip! Fly into OKC and spend Friday night in Bricktown, then a short Saturday drive into Norman for a fun gameday experience. Whip that Sooner arse and drink those Okies under the table. Those people still hate LSU fans for their uneventful trip to NOLA back in 2004, so Tiger Baiting them will be especially worthwhile.

Norman is a good college town. Have watched a few games there since my wife is alumnus. Great atmosphere and their fans usually stay standing and active all game long. Except for that one time I watched Army give them a run for their money. With that being said I love reminding them about 03 and talking shite. Not to mention the annihilation in the semi final game. Geaux tigers!

Just make sure to get you beer in Texas, Louisiana, or Arkansas before you cross the boarder....

I’ve been to Norman on a gameday. There’s nothing impressive about it. Lot of people sure, but Norman is a weak college town and the game day environment is very blah

Did research several summers at OU. Very sleepy town, but the college bar district is decent. They have weird blue laws for alcohol percentages of beer bought cold.

I can't say anything about the gameday atmosphere but it is one of the few college campuses that gives LSU a run for its money. Most of the other SEC schools are concrete jungles anyways

What?! Have you even been there for a game? I live in OKC. Their entire tailgating area could fit into the PMAC.

Not anymore. They finally did away with those old laws a couple of years ago.

I work for a factory in Norman. It's a great little town. I for one can't wait to go to a football game there.Back in the spring years past I've gone to some tailgates for the OU baseball games. Cool little town. I can't wait.

They like Texas will have to get over the 3500 only visitors (all in the upper deck) SEC requires 6.000 visitor seats including 1500 in the lower level
