All of the actions up to now, by LSU, are based on optics in relation to press. Which LSU, it's AD, and it's administration have proven time and time again they are woefully inept at managing either... the press or optics.

I know that the amount I donate isn't squat compared to the fat cats, but I'll feel better knowing that I didn't help fund the shite show that's currently going on in Baton Rouge.

I'm almost to the point where I can't wait for LSU to become cellar dwellars in college basketball again and seeing the profit this season will make for the University completely dry up. They're essentially killing their biggest profit maker aside from the football program. The stupid fricks in LSU's administration don't deserve a good basketball program.

This may be the final straw in me letting go of my football season tickets. Most home games can be had for $20/ticket outside the gate anyways for the games I do want to drive in for

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the request was for a private meeting, not a public statement. The public statement about not denying wrongdoing was a response to Wade's public statement.
No one here knows what the NCAA is saying to the admins/compliance departments.

I am no lawyer and someone correct me if i am wrong; but testifying or pleading your innocence's will void your 5th amendment right i believe. That is the entire point of the 5th amendment. If this is the counsel LSU is using they need to fire them and get some real lawyers

Read LSU's statement. They wanted to show institutional control, and rightfully so. Your made up statement does not show that, and saying "they can put it off for a few weeks" surely doesnt.
If an LSU assistant were on tape or if it were just hearsay, it would be much easier to maneuver for LSU.
