Nussmeier Scouting Reports (2)

Nussmeier is 6’2, 182 and won’t see the field until he’s north of 200.

Brennan came out at 6’4 182

Brennan was light and that was a key reason that Joe Burrow beat him out. They were neck and neck in the Spring 2018 practices

There's the defensiveness. Just chill about the whole thing. Geez. I don't know why you like to make an issue out of things that aren't an issue at all. You do it a lot. I generally stay away from your posts but you are definitely wrong here.

You're entitled to your opinion but to keep carrying on about it is stupid.

Maybe people know the family. Maybe they know how this kid turned into a 4 star QB.

You obviously don't. I do. I have for decades. All I'm going to say about it. Give your condescending crap a rest. No idea why you have some axe to grind with this kid but it's unnecessary and pointless. Support him or don't click on the thread. Pretty simple.

We need to keep this in prospective. With NFL QB's as
father's of course Johnson and Nuss should be far ahead
of Finley. The thing is Finley has a much higher ceiling, the question being is how high he can go. Johnson and Nuss
could be maxed out on their abilities because of the coaching the have received.

The best thing I see about Finley is that he is a hard worker and eager to be coached. I would say that without a doubt that Johnson will be ahead of him on the depth chart for next year and its great for us that we get a QB that is ready to play and another that shows the potential to be really good with some development. There are far more Finley types in the NFL than Johnson/Nuss types.

does not have the athleticism to play that position at the higher level. heavy feet.
Smh... the young misguided & uniformed...kid has been playing high level AAU basketball since grade school...

Let’s not get into the athleticism debate surrounding basketball players and how their skillset translates to the football field, but not necessarily the other way around (Please, please...spark this debate...I pray for this)

Critics said the exact same thing about Jamarcus Russell coming out of H.S. He turned out to be a pretty good college QB.

He's raw but he has a cannon for an arm and he is only 17. He also knows how to read defenses very well. I was blown away when i heard him explain 2 deep coverage, and other defensive formations that were pretty complex. He really knows the game inside and out.

I can tell that you have never watched him play.

Athleticism is definitely not his issue. Lack of passing accuracy is his big issue

Damn that’s super impressive considering Burrow wasn’t even on the team until summer...
