LSU QB room is going to be huge with Max and now Nuss.

How about adding to that. Walker Howard in 2022 with Arch Manning in 2023.

Now that is a room. Two quarterbacks ain’t a room.

I was wondering why no mention of him the young man can ball. This board always over look him for some weird reason.

Prediction: He'll never see the field at LSU and will eventually transfer a la Parrish......

Because anyone that has seen him play knows that he’s extremely raw and that Nuss and Johnson both appear ahead of him

I think OPs point is the hard football blood running through Max and Nuss rather than them just being white, as you imply. Or does TJ have an NFL QB father i am unaware of?

Foot work and burrow like quickness movements in pocket might need improvement
We don’t need stature

Get a clue folks!
Nussmeier is a 2-3 year project when he gets to LSU after signing December 15, 2020

Nussmeier is too damned small now

Anyone remember Myles Brennan!
Myles was also the 6th ranked QB!
Myles was an inch taller and underweight just like Nussmeier.

If Brennan plays two years AND STAYS HEALTHY, then in Fall 2022 two years from now LSU likely starts:

1. Max Johnson (6’5” 220 right now)
Max will be 1 year ahead of Nussmeier
2. CJ Finley or Nussmeier (if he has the weight)

We need the depth and Nussmeier will be a perfect QB as follows:
2021: Redshirt
2022: RS Freshman Back-up
2023: RS SO Back-Up
2024: Likely starter depending if Caleb Williams signs
2025: Likely starter the year LSU plays Clemson in regular season

The future is bright at QB. It gets brighter with Caleb Williams.

Oh and Jake Johnson, Max’s little brother is a 4-Star Top 10 TE for class of 2022

semjackass (BRAVEHEART), at least that is your hope. We all know you don't like "glorified running backs". Your dog whistle for black QBs. Whick you have made clear you don't want LSU recruiting.

Also, what are your thoughts on that OL winning the Moore Trophy for best OL in the nation? Doesn't fit your narrative about "up north" O-Linemen who process information quicker. Another dog whistle of yours for your preference for white O-Linemen. Guess we must thank Deculus for the line's success since those other guys don't fit your narrative of what make good olinemen..

No he's not.

The 6'1.5" being thrown around is from 14 months ago. As is the weight. He's grown a little (I'd say a solid 6'2") and gotten thicker (looked like 190, which is good weight for a rising senior). I saw him at a 7 on 7 tournament back in February and he looks quite the opposite of what Myles looked like as a high schooler.

we have had many years with several highly ranked QBs per year under Les only to be squandered...but then we had almost no talent at QB in 16’/17 thanks to Les. Then we opened up the offense, and we should expect a lot of big time QBs coming to BR.

I remember when he said we had to do something about the center position because Cushenberry wasn't gonna work out.

Are there still people who care about the color of a man's skin? I just wish Cush was still here :-)
Top 3 round pick for a center means he made the right decision, but I will still miss him.

The second string QB was once the fans MVP. Now they are picking favorites before they come to campus, and some before they play their senior year.
I guess it was reverse racism that made Burrow third at Ohio State?
Whoever has the dedication and puts in the time will be the starting QB when Brennan leaves.
All of those guys are physically capable of starting its to whoever wants it most.
