Reports were that Chester was running 2nd team center today to get some reps (which makes sense that he would be C2) so Echols took his spot at guard today. I think the starting 5 will be

LT - Adams
LG - Chester
C - Moore
RG - Thompson
RT- Davis

This is our best 5 and we have solid back ups in Echols, Curne (struggling right now though), Williams, Mubenga, Thomas, Bordelon...etc

Sloan should have raised concerns before now.

hes practicing kicking all day . Just because he punts 10 balls doesn't hurt anything.

it takes 10 seconds per rep

Even our pass plays in the red zone were lacking last year. Sloan needs to improve in the red zone. It was his first year as OC for LSU though and our offense seemed to improve down the stretch, so there is hope....

theres hope because we have running qbs to put in and a receiver that the running qb doesn't have to be accurate when he throws him the ball. the 2 tight end sets have been destroying the defense, in the redzone specifically. according to reports

He was 1 for 4 on Saturday from 53 and 55. He’s supposed to be the backup kicker.

He should be practicing every damn rep he can from whatever Ramos’ range is back to his range…we may NEED that in less than three weeks.

We paid a sophomore punter and we have Badger as a backup.

They’ve been giving him reps but he has false start issues rn. Been doing a lot of wind sprints b/c of it

Burrell is the only hope that a walk-on kicker, who is maybe in the top 100 in the country, doesn’t beat out our 4 year scholarship guy back to back. Ramos beat out Dibert. Corbello will compete with Burrell in the spring. Should be practicing kicking instead of punting.

We all know you have an axe to grind so no one here really cares about your opinion on anything to do with kicking at LSU anymore. That and you sound like an over-emotional 13 year old girl. Just step away.

At this point, LG needs to be a Curne vs Echols battle. The other 2 both have starting experience and still can't lock the job down. it seems clear that they aren't the answer.
Semjase's predicted OL Shite Show unfolding in practice.

I'm NOT for to feel sorry for either BK or Sylvester Croom (Brad Davis) IF it implodes during the season because of inferior OL Coaching and Talent.............

Ahmad Breaux making plays kind of worries me. He's prob 4th DT below Gooden, McKinley, Guillory, then Breaux. He played bc injury last year.

Burrell getting snaps at punting is unreal. We’re a joke.

This is why I wish he had two separate boards. 1 for fans who actually listen to practice reports and know the roster, and 1 for fans who couldn't name the O Line, D Line, or transfers, and just know the skill position names/Nuss. If you had any idea about the team, youd know Chadwick is been elite at punter, but you always train backups in case of an injury.

We have a top 5 kid in the country, Badger Hargett from Lafayette. I’ve seen the kid punt in competitions and in no way will Burrell ever be that consistent. Either we are enamored with Burrell’s ‘big ball’, or someone is requesting he get playing time in this position.

We are pretty much stuck with him at FGs next year unless we have a true comp between him and Corbello, or we can get Gavin Higgins to graduate early. LSU fans have been spoiled with FG consistency, something Burrell has never shown.

The stranger thing is competing with your FG holder, Badger, for his backup spot.

I wish people on TD were smart enough to understand that coaches don’t always go straight to the media with every single opinion, observation, or idea that they have

^ how do yall assholes type like that, holy shite that’s a pain in the arse

It’s like yall are flabbergasted that they didn’t run this by TD first

that the defense was ahead to start camp is fine, but we’re at a point where the offense needs to round into form.
