Lotsa solid talent coming back

The offense will be the total opposite of this season. This year LSU returned two Olinemen who had started previously and they both got injured during the season or before.

The only returning skill player was TE Foster Moreau.

Next season LSU should return everyone except for one senior Olineman - Brumfield, Moreau and Brossette.

The biggest loss will be Cole Tracy.

Allude is the word you’re thinking of...

Elude is elusive. Like you’re escaping pursuers.

plenty saying that the season doesn’t matter because we won’t win a national title. They’re dumb as shite but they’re still saying it.

Nope. Nobody said this.

I agree losing Cole hurts. He’s been so good.

Can only hope York can come in and perform well.

I don't understand how you can say we aren't close.

Because we lost 29-0 at home in the biggest game of the year. And we do it every season.

He's correct though. The expectation is to compete for conference and national championships. If the expectation was to win 9 or 10 games then Les would still have a job.

If Miles has finished 2015 at *9-2 (remember McNeese game was cancelled) we would have gone to Sugar Bowl probably destroyed Ok St and finished in the top 10 and he would not have been fired 4 games into the next season.

A 10-2 regular season with a NY6 bowl is a very good season. Of course we don’t want that to be the ceiling but in and of itself that’s a great year.

Yeah I realize and acknowledge that, but again we're an OC away. That's not that far off. Bama can be beat and we have enough talent to do it. Just need the right person calling the plays. You make it sound like we lost to the majority of the SEC teams we played.

What a silly thing to say.

If we just make a hire that somehow completely changes our offense then we will be good. No shite. That doesn't happen. Who isn't that true for? Tennessee is only an OC and a DC away from competing for a championship!

If we finish the regular season 10-2 and win a NY6 bowl game, I don’t know how the fans can’t be pleased with those results. It could set things up for a very special 2019 season, if Orgeron will do what’s necessary and make some coaching changes in the off season.

You know what? You're worse than a Nega. LSU wins, you brag and call out the Negas. LSU loses you call Negas non LSU fans because they call out Coach O and Ensminger. Be happy with where this team is and enjoy the ride.

The main thing is winning 8-10 games was never our issue, it was beating Bama and playing for titles and fixing our stagnant offense. It's why we fired Miles to begin with. Not to continue the same process with a new HC who promised to hire the best coordinators available and fix what the last coach wouldn't. Until two days ago we were still paying the former coach, a fired OC, and new HC for a product we could have had for less money by keeping the last HC.

Can I hate the Negas and still want better offensive coaching and results?

I agree. We didn’t fire Miles for Orgeron to do the exact same thing. That’s why I said that 2019 could be special IF Orgeron does what needs to be done to fix the stagnant offense. If he’s either to stubborn or proud to do it, then his career at LSU will end sooner rather than later, and rightly so.

Why do people keep repeating this. Les lost to Arkansas when they were 0-14 in SEC play. Let that sink in. Now look at his record vs Ole Miss his last 3 years. That's why he was fired.

Quite a few teams actually. My point was LSU has all the other pieces: talent, recruiting, great defenses, good facilities etc. They are just missing the offensive coaching piece.

If we make the right hire sure. We have the talent. We just need to find the right person to execute with it.

But, hey, if it makes you feel better then sure LSU is terrible and are light years away from ever competing for the NC.

Truth, I have no loyalty to O and I had no loyalty to Miles. My loyalty is to LSU.
