A young LSU team is on the verge of an amazing season, there’s a real possibility of LSU finishing the season ranked in the top six as a team and in recruiting LSU may finish even higher.

Amazing would be closing out with a win in a New Years Day Bowl and finishing this recruiting class by adding another 5 star player, a DL, that would truly be outstanding. LSU appears to be on their way to doing so.

Hopefully it ends like your post states. I want to feel good in the offseason.

I haven't seen one person no matter how negative say this or even elude to it.

Don't you ever give it a rest?

When no one's bickering you get things started.

I really hope it plays out this way, but I am still going to be worried about the offense going forward no matter if it's E or someone new as OC.

Regardless it's been a fun season and it's safe to say we out performed what most people (including me) expected us to do.

Are we bringing in some offensive and defensive tackles?

With the amount of in state talent anything other than a top 5 class this year will be a flop.

I expect us to finish 4 BTW

Lotsa solid talent coming back. I have big hopes for Kary Vincent in 2019.

Delpit is a headhunter. We all know what he’s gonna bring next year.

Stingley Jr. could make an immediate impact.

I think everyone who has complaints would say that they are based on how far we are from winning a championship. Yeah we are top 6, but we know when we play with an opportunity to win a Natty we get beat 29-0. We aren't close. I don't know how you could say otherwise

No offense but top 5 recruiting classes are expected and college playoffs or failure. You fired a coach for only winning 9-10 games most year with the occasion sec championship. So stop saying we have a 10 win season BS. Also, O was hired for his recruiting go out and get a top 3 class. Miles was always top 7 with top 4 multiple times. Sorry we pay a coach millions to not coach I expect an improvement not the same or slightly less

plenty saying that the season doesn’t matter because we won’t win a national title. They’re dumb as shite but they’re still saying it.

He's correct though. The expectation is to compete for conference and national championships. If the expectation was to win 9 or 10 games then Les would still have a job.

We’re back to “If we had an offense we could win”

And I think That shows more optimism than “O will never win an NC”

O pumpers are just too married to Ensminger and defending every move O makes to realize that.

Except we are close. We're an OC away, which truly isn't that far. If O can make the right hire we will be right back in the mix. I don't understand how you can say we aren't close.
