Greg McElroy said, “Back in June a lot of players went to a bar called Tigerland one night and shortly after over 30 players tested positive for Covid-19”.

(A bar called Tigerland......lol)

Back in June a lot of Bama players went to a bar called Gumpland, and shortly after over 30 tested positive for a STD.

I never respected Galloway.

He flipped O’s comments to the entire SEC in an attempt to boost his conference and political beliefs.

The NFL has what, 30 teams, with 53 on the roster.

Not ONE positive Corona test prior to or after blood, sweat, and tears on 15 fields across the nation?

C’mon! You can seriously ask about colleges being concerned about the safety of kids, when the reason you made a living (NFL) has 1500 mf’ers playing ball, and you are ignorant enough to believe NO ONE caught Covid?

frick off, seriously. Your voice no longer makes a relevant sound

The media keeps acting like getting Covid is like getting AIDS. They got the flu. Now they're fine. And can't get sick or get anyone else sick with it again.

Joey Galloway makes me sick. Wanted to slap him tonight. He is blowing way out of proportion what Coach O said. He is trying to make the SEC look bad to cover up for his conference’s colossal mistake in deciding to not play football in the Big 10. Can’t stand little Joey. He almost always gets it wrong when he analyzes teams. He needs to be fired with his hidden political agenda.

There are a total of 12650 students that play college football and 1664 players in the NFL. Out of those 14314 players, ZERO of them have died from covid-19 after months of practicing/playing games, so the real question is who gives a shite?

What gets me is the people that assume that they only got Covid because they were practicing football as if they would never get it anyway and the whole argument the coaches were making at the beginning of all of this is that if someone on their team does get it they are safer on campus at their facilities with their medical staff than they are at their own home.

Exactly. Not only having the medical staff, but having the prospect of playing games will encourage these kids to make better decisions off the field. I know that I would be smarter about what I do off the field if I had conference games coming up rather than just 2 weeks of practice with no games

It’s shameful of us considering all of the players that died

Makes me wonder if we also swept under the rug all the venereal viruses acquired at Tigerland

I know my wife and son have probably already had it back in February
I think a lot of people have already had it as asymptomatic with no issues and hopefully that means you won't get it again

None of the players who tested positive would be getting tested multiple times every week if they weren't playing football. Most of them were asymptomatic and would have had a greater risk of spreading the virus if they weren't on campus for football.
