How exactly does the bayou fund work?

Let’s say I donate 10,000 to it. What do I get in return?

From the website, there are 6 different levels of donations that get you different perks.

“The Boot” level is a $5k donation & looks like you would get some merch, access to some exclusive newsletter, a signed thank you note from LSU athlete, & an exclusive tailgate pass

You got something that backs up this claim or are you just spewing BS as usual?

Not saying you're wrong, just that you are usually full of ... well, ya know.

Your average fan is already tapped out from the outrageous gameday experience. I don't need to donate more of my fricking money to some kids to play football. frick that.

I’m not donating my hard earned cash to buy players to go to LSU and pay $200 for a game ticket. Call me old fashion

I think we are probably doing fine raising money and not some broke arse college like some of the rant thinks. The fact is that we are still currently paying our former coach and had to buy out all his assistants and assistants he ran thru the last 2 years. Also, paying our new coach and staff alot of money.

Now also, throw in the fact that Texas is now joining the SEC and their little brother just bought the highest rated class ever, so their fan base has renewed excitement and throwing in money hand over fist to show little brother up next year and on. Ive also heard, with NIL, FSU, Miami and other dormant big time programs have had significant boost to their alumni donations because you can pay to get the players legally now.

It will even itself out in a few years, it just was some bad timing for LSU when NIL started.

Huh?

That can’t be NIL related since the school is not allowed to have anything to do with the process.

I’m talking about donating to a fund so a player will do work for me. Like do some social media ads for my business…
How does THAT work through the fund?

So you don't think the hundreds of millions from
TAF + Bayou Traditions = a metric shite ton of cash for LSU athletics?

It's truly stunning to me how few people on this board understand any of what's going on with the college game. It's almost as if guys like you are tied to a narrative and you refuse to come off of it into reality. Or you suck at math.

None of the things I listed above involves the school. All of the incentives/rewards come directly from the NIL collective. And the school can absolutely advertise & promote donating to Bayou Traditions as it’s the official NIL collective for LSU athletics.

Hell, Brian Kelly has donated the shoes he wore on Gameday to be auctioned off to raise money.

It sounds like you have a serious misunderstanding of how NIL deals/collectives work. If you want a player to advertise for you or your company, then that would be your own NIL deal with a player. That’s exactly what Gordon, Raising Cane’s, Chicken/Tigerdroppings, etc have done. They’re not doing that through a collective

So no GMC Sierras for the offensive line?

Tell me at least someone is getting them Colorados or something

Maybe some sweet condos with a River view?

Gordon, you have to do something about this.

Their are sites to hook you up with your specific athlete

Most have a manager listed on their social media

Matchloint

Opendourse

You pick your athlete and it can be as simple as a tweet for cash
