Patrick Queen

its these type of players Clemson and Bama return year in and year out....Not blaming the guy but this is where we lose ground with consistency of a top 4 program every year....He is at best late 2nd to 3rd round pick; realistically 3/4th round and that is with my purple and gold glasses on...One more year leading this Defense would no doubt jump him into the 1st round...He would most likely of been the next #18

add Phillps to above comment...didnt even know he would consider leaving...i believe he is even later of a draft pick than Queen or Cush

agree... all 3 should have stayed... i think this was more of an emotional decision as in "going out on top" than a business decision... Cush would have won the Remington trophy and easily 1st/2nd rounder in 2021... Queen and phillips would both battle moses for 1st team All SEC and easily 2nd 3rd round next year as well... stupid decision and it is what holds us back... i would even add Charles in there too... Jefferson Clyde Delpit and Chaisson should have been the only ones declare... you don't declare early unless you are 1st or 2nd round. or a RB/NT because of the abuse you receive.. hell i thought Shelvin would leave before all those guys... being a nose you get beat up...

Thad should go because Arik would prob beat him out..

Campbell is always in terrible physical condition. Unlike Logan, Shelvin, and Thomas, he still doesn't get it.

That’s a lot leaving early, added to other big names at other schools. And only 32 per round drafted. Someone will not go where they are being projected.

How many get drafted?

The 9 early entrees, Burrow, Lawrence and maybe Magee or Lewis?

Was excited to see Queen play so well and was thinking he could springboard to be the face of the defense next year a la Delpit this last season - be shown in promos every week, mentioned as being a leader in every article, build his brand ya know?

Saw I think Kipers projections, he had Chiasson as the 7th rated olb and Moss as the 10th rated te and that’s a position that doesn’t get picked early. He def shoulda came back with Queen and Phillips should have returned.

On the other hand Mike D thinks Cush is going in the 2nd.

Already graduated and could go in 2nd or 3rd this year

Queen is a lock for 2nd Rd this year and could find his way into the 1st

Phillips will already go in 3rd/4th

Dude, Queen is a 2nd round lock and with a great combine could be 1st rounder.

Yes he will. Hoping the Lions will get him. Often under recognized by us this year because teams avoided him. The NFL scouts see him as a first rounder.

Look guys Queen had a great championship game but no way he goes that high. He just started this year and not even in the first game. The NFL looks at the whole package not just one game. When they look at the whole body of work they will see a Athletic fast guy that didn’t wrap up and got lost in the wrong gaps. There was a reason we gave up so many yards against running teams and Queen was one of the main reasons. He is small and I don’t even know how he is in coverage because he really didn’t play that long to even notice. To me he compares to Kwon Alexander which is a good thing but he just didn’t play that much until this season. I love Patrick Queen but I think he along with Phillips should have stayed at LSU. I say early 3rd round for Queen and Phillips early 4th to 5th rounder. Good luck to both of them though.

O the old he didn’t play much til this season. You realize this one season got Burrow to the 1st pick? Not his body of work. This season.

I agree but Burrow had some great games last year also and Joe showed up every game this season. Queen had a great championship game and had some decent games but nothing that showed consistency in tackling and being a standout linebacker. Honestly in those bad games where we gave up large amounts of rushing yards Queen and Phillips were terrible.
