No need. Orgeron expects that they'll try to employ things that have been successful against them all year. He understands it's a copycat league. What we should hope is Clemson looks at the Auburn film, but does not look at the UGA game where they attempted to use the same looks as Auburn and got torched.

The could also look at the Alabama film, but Clemson's receivers are not as fast as Alabama's. They're just bigger. IMO, they are a much better match-up for our safeties.

The Bayou Bengals will be able to get down the field, but Venables will change it up & get aggressive in the red zone. Just like he did against Ohio State. Clemson wants FG's because you know they will score plenty against LSU's defense.

Same strategy as several teams this year. Did not work well for them. LSU has big play ability, so just getting to the red zone is not necessary.

LSU is similar to Bama last year & Clemson will have the same defensive philosophy - bend, but don't break.

LSU is pretty similar in a lot of ways.
But there are a few glaring differences.
1. Red Zone offense is MUUUCH better for LSU than Bama (78% to 68% on TDs - 97% to 82% overall)
So it'll be harder for them to "not break."

Also. LSU is muuuuch better at turning over passes. 17 Interceptions to 14 through 1 less game.

LSU has a lower opponent 3rd down conversion rate than bama did.

We average 40 more yards and 4 more points a game.
We've had 5 times as many games where we gained over 600 yards than we do where we were held to less than 470! You CANNOT stop this offense.

77.6 percent completion percentage to 69.
Burrow has thrown 12 more TD's than TUA did with the same amount of interceptions (with a game remaining).

I think the real kicker is this.. Bama only had 10 more offensive snaps through 15 games than we do now, with a game remaining. Our tempo is a real problem for defenses.

Although Bama's offense was prolific through 2018, LSU's is much more so. And more efficient. And although their defense may have been slightly better, ours is nearly equal while being better at forcing turnovers, and stopping drives.

I bet they never thought of this. You should call O tomorrow and give him a heads-up.

The lack of confidence in this team after the season they have produced...

I just don’t get it.

So who does Clemson use to replace those Dlinemen that went to the NFL? That was where Clemson won that game.

Xavier Thomas, former #1 player in the nation in front of Lawrence. Has been quiet all year. Only because he’s had to help with the run game. His bread and butter is rushing the passer.

If y’all pass pass pass and he gets a chance to pin his ears back. Watch out

Justin Foster- everybody as good as Austin Bryant from last year

KJ Henry- former 5*, redshirted last year. Can rush passer.

Logan Rudolph- Fun fact.:. Mason Rudolph’s little brother . Typical white buy. Causes havoc, fast enough, strong, and relentless.

We are end heavy. Defense tackles are lacking. But guess what!?????

Y’all don’t run the ball lol!

Someone only watched the Oklahoma and Georgia games. LSU does what the defense is giving them.

Except, Clemson doesn’t have the same defense. Do you know how many defensive players Clemson lost from last years team?

That's where you're wrong, go watch Auburn game, we gashed their arse in the second half. You obviously haven't watched LSU play this year.

Did Bama break pretty much every NCAA passing record last year and their QB win the Heisman by the largest margin in history?

Sheesh, you completely discredited yourself in the first 7 words of your post. Impressive.

From watching the OSU game, I did not see anyone who scares me that dline. Dobbins gashed that Clemson defense with ease. Getting CEH back for LSU is huge in the run. Might be the best running back in the game in terms of running/catching and pass protection.

Really, wasn't Bama being called the "greatest team of all time" by the offensive no.'s they were putting up last year?

I bleed purple & gold. I hate Bama with a passion & have to hear about them everyday living in AL.

I just don't want LSU to think that Clemson cannot beat them. Because, Clemson can have a great game, Burrow can be off his game a little bit, & lose the NCG just like Bama did last year. Bama was dominating Clemson in rushing & TOP for almost 3 quarters, but Tua had 2 critical interceptions & Lawrence & his receivers made awesome pass completions.

We want NC's not, runner-up, especially since LSU has the team to do it. Finish Tigers!!

This is how Auburn kept it close. Georgia. They'll need some misdirection plays to gain an advantage. Middle screens work great against a heavy blitz.
