LSU is similar to Bama last year & Clemson will have the same defensive philosophy - bend, but don't break. The Bayou Bengals will be able to get down the field, but Venables will change it up & get aggressive in the red zone. Just like he did against Ohio State. Clemson wants FG's because you know they will score plenty against LSU's defense.

I am sure the coaches will not look at any film from last year. They would not wanna learn much about team they playing!

If only Joe Burrow would show he can handle the blitz...

A) Our Defense is a completely different animal at the moment (last 3-4 games), and there is nothing that I have seen that shows "they will score plenty against LSU's defense"

B) Clemson's defense is extremely different this year.
1) LSUs offense is its own animal that will require its own game plan to counter. Doubt we will see a returning game plan.

Championship Game Rules state that you can only watch film from each team's previous game (Ohio State) so this is against the rules to watch last years Bama game.

Yeah, but Clemson this year is missing a few Top 40 draft picks. LSU may be similar to Bama (I don't really think so, but hey), but Clemson is not the same team. And Ohio State was running all over them Saturday night, and should have been winning that game by 3 or 4 scores at one point. Burrow is a much better passer than Fields, and Clemson will have a hard time defending Chase, Jefferson, Marshall, Moss, AND CEH.

Really? I don't think it's going to be that easy for them. LSU's defense is playing much better, and Clemson's offense struggled for the better part of the Fiesta Bowl. They scored on 3 big plays, all of which were poorly defended. They couldn't grind out a drive to get a TD.

So who does Clemson use to replace those Dlinemen that went to the NFL? That was where Clemson won that game.

Joe Burrow said that it was useless watching film because “They had a new package for us this week that I didn’t see on film.”

He said every team since Tamu, has come out with different sets than what they saw in the film room.

I'm not saying it's pointless to study film of your opponent. I'm just relaying what our Heisman trophy winning quarterback thinks of your opinion.

You should really get this valuable info to the coaches ASAP! They are probably clueless right now. It’s a good thing you made this observation. ??

Obviously, Tua looked like he could handle anything last year. How did that turn out last year?

Well, who has gotten all of the awards? Right now, the media is telling LSU that their offense is "unstoppable". Last year, the media was calling the Bama team the "greatest of all time". Which is exactly what they are saying about LSU this year if they win. Everything LSU has done this year will be forgotten if they do NOT win the NC!
