Yeah, I always wanted LSU to play like criminals out on weekend furlough and get 200 yards in penalties (mostly for taunting and personal fouls) like the U did against Texas in that Cotton Bowl.

That would make me proud.

Why not? They beat the crap out of Texas in that game. Like the guy said Texas should have been happy that they were acting up otherwise it would have been a lot worse.

Cause I still think a team can be tough, and successful and still play with class and sportsmanship.

And as long as I believe that why would I want to have my school embarrassed by cutting my kids loose to act like a bunch of street punks.

final score for that game 46-3. ill take that anytime. their kicker was even bad arse. "This place sucks lets whip their arse and get the frick out of here". I could deal with alem trying out for kicker during our rivalry game if we were up by 40

I've got news for you. Miami didn't win because of their "attitude"......or their swagger or mystique or because they intimidated opponents. They were great because they had great athletes and probably even better coaches.....and an "us against the world" mentality. The best opponent Miami players faced was the guy across the line from him every day in practice. And having on QB after another capable of winning the Heisman didn't hurt one bit.

LSU needs to play like LSU. The name doesn't get the respect it did a few years ago.

Carlos Huerta was the kicker, I think he made it to the NFL.

All I remember from that game was WR Randall Hill running all the way inside the stadium's tunnel after he scored a TD.

if we win 46-3, why does it matter?

are you honestly downplaying a program who had 1 more national title than LSU's entire history, in a 15 year span?

Some people prefer our lethargic, gentlemanly game play.

lol at him blaming the opposing db's for not being able to cover him and also blaming the architect of the stadium for putting a tunnel in the end zone.

"im running a go route and your gonna throw me the damn ball"

Agree to that statement- Miami, like Fl. St., were an embarrasment, I bet half of those guys that were on those old teams that did not play pro ball probably ended up on the streets...sick of all the thug crap in sports...but I realize today that teams want to win at any cost...
