LSU needs to play like LSU

Teams were afraid of them. Miami had a mental advantage before the game even started. Teams aren't afraid to play LSU anymore. That's what LSU needs to get back.
Bingo, I can remember a lot of the things that went on from high school, and how when we walked out on the field we wanted to be just like Miami. While I can’t forgive the penalties there has to be something said about talking shite and backing it up. That’s the first thing that stood out, when you watch the interviews none of the players ever had a doubt about who was the best team in the stadium, or about the outcome of the game. That domination, that swagger, the intimidation when that comes back we will have another two national championships to plan for. But nobody, in college football walks with that swagger anymore, not even Alabama and for damn sure not USC.
The second thing that stands out, WTF happened to Notre Dame?
The third, when was the last time anyone saw Texas take an asswhooping like that?
I hope like hell some of our players are watching.

Yeah, they won games but truly were an embarrassment.

no they weren't
You were 9 when Miami won their third NC. How would you know what the general perception of Miami teams were then?

SO Now we want shite talking and a little undiscplined play? In 2007 a lot of you were saying Les had an undisciplned team who committed too many penalties, unlike the great Saban who wouldn't put up with it? Which is it?

There's a huge difference between aggressive penalties and delay of game, false start, and illegal formation.

Michael Irvin was definitely drunk or high or both for his interview on that show. He could not keep his eyes open and focused and he was slurring.

Last I looked we won NC's with out being thugs! That was a bad mind set in the country that most teams did not win with....and alot of people dead and in prison cause of the cancer like attitude which spread all over the nation in that era! It wasn't cool!. Miami would have won without the att.The point is they didn't need it to win!

Scnellenberger would have never let that go on and would have stopped getting those recruits.
LOL - Schellenberger would not have tolerated the nonsense that JJ did but there was no way he would have " stopped getting those recruits" He specifically went after inner city kids when he took over the UM program. Before Schnellenberger took over the program, inner city kids from South Florida were going away to Big 8 and Big 10 schools. Schnellenberger and JJ put up a wall around South Florida and it remains to this day the the most fertile recruiting ground for the program......and not coincidentally, the current head coach, Randy Shannon was one of "those recruits". He sure as hell wasn't hired because he was a high profile or an "elite" coach. He was a guy that could identify with the kind of athletes UM wanted to keep at home.
