First time I saw it, it was amusing. Now it just makes people look childish.

UNO has a whole new team.

It also has a coach who is undoubtedly, at least IMHO, a much better coach than LSU's. He won a national title at Loyola.

If I were a betting man, I would wager everything I own on UNO beating the spread. I wouldn’t be shocked if UNO won outright.

ETA: more than happy to eat Crow. Great win, Tigers!

I expect it to be about a 4-6 point LSU win. UNO this year is better than many of the dregs we play in OOC games.

This will be a good test to see what we've got.

That would be a reasonable play considering McMahon's team has never come close to covering a Game 2 spread in his LSU tenure

Coach Holowell* won a NAIA National Championship with LY-Ola (NOLA) in ‘22.

*Mandeville guy, got a side-eye affect, watch him for a while and you’ll understand. Evidently at least a serviceable coach.

Nah, but Master P has sort of taken over the program.

I’m 100percent expecting us to coast in this game and win by 15+. If we are really serious about making the tourney this year our expectations against this low tier team should be anything less than a 15+ point win is not acceptable.. we have superior players, go out and handle buisness.

Also, after the game our discussion should be about these things:

1. Turnover
2. Opponents offensive rebound
3. Transition defense
4. Minute rotation
5. Pick and roll defense

The things that have trended each season and have been McMahon Achilles heel.Hipefully we see some signs in improvement in those areas.

We'll see

Game 2 (by season)

LSU v. Arkansas St

line (LSU - 18.5)
Result (LSU +9)

LSU v. Nichols St.

line (LSU - 22.5)
Result (Nichols St. +2)

LSU v. Alabama State

line (LSU - 19.5)
Result (LSU +13)

(ASU had 10 point lead with 12:00 to go in 2nd half)

If you want skeptics to believe this team/season is different...do something different

Ya hear what your saying ATL, but my point is, if we really are gonna be a tourney team, 15+ victory should be the standard. You know I’m really a believer in McMahon but I’m I love Tiger basketball and I just want to win and don’t care who the coach is that turns it around for us. I’m just saying 15+ cause any serious team should expect that also

And that’s what I’m getting at and your 100 percent right, “ if ya want skeptics to believe diffrent, do something different”, I’m begging this team to make me a believer

Because they beat TCU on the road, I’m leaning towards taking the points & the over.
