Must be a bunch of Monroe posters on the board.
I like Pearson. But we will need more production from the “bottom of the lineup” which included Pearson, Kling and Neal because most of the top of the lineup is gone.
If we can get players who are better hitters than Kling and Pearson you have to get them on the field. This is a competition and we can’t lose games while waiting on them to develop.

Bc he’s just a really good college player who offers a shite ton of production but doesn’t necessarily project at the next level

Pearson had a sophomore slump, but he hit .299 as a freshman with 8 bombs. Give the guy reps and he will produce. Not to mention he’s fast as frick
ETA: depth is great and why we were the best team this year. If someone isn’t hitting, next man up and cycle them through

Pearson was 3rd on the team in OBP in SEC games, behind Crews & travinski (who had significantly less plate appearances).
Ended up t15th in the whole conference in OBP% at .434
But ya what a bum. Played really good defense too. Understand value, or don’t
