Depends on 1st 3games .If they go3-0 the over is the bet. Ala, Texas, tenn is brutal ,do they have the depth.

I am not satisfied with that, but I think that is about right….damn schedule is tough as hell and we changed all of the coaches and all of the players.

Complete unknown…

I’m thinking if they go 4-0 , over is a lock .
Alabama and Texas are home games , at worst that is a split.

Does it? While I agree hes probably our best shot at our potential ceiling, what about OM last year?

Sure its probably an outlier but no one thought OM was going to be what it became once Simmons went down.

You don’t even know who our 3 losses would be to, yet you are saying it’s probable that LSU would do something that has never been done before.

This.

Unless and until it happens it's foolish is say it is "probable".

2025 Texas is actually a very good example. They beat Oklahoma (CFP team), A&M (CFP team) and Vanderbilt (just outside the CFP). They lost @ Ohio State (CFP team) and @ Georgia (CFP team). Yet, there were two G6 teams who, combined, didn't beat a single team ranked in the CFP top 15, make the playoffs ahead of Texas.

The committee has shown over the last two season that 9-3 is the rubicon a power conf. team must cross to have a chance to make the 12 team CFP. That could change this year. But its by no means a certainty

I’ll take the over. If we have 4 losses and don’t make the playoffs after all this hoopla, that would be a major disappointment.

This board will implode if this team doesn’t get 9 wins

I absolutely feel like 9 is the floor for this year’s squad

If Kelly was still here it would go under easily.

With Kiffin we have a shot at making the playoffs.

Your qb has a potential career ending injury, are people unaware of how severe a lisfranc typically is for an athlete?

That might be more of a concern if Kiffin wasn't the HC. In 6 years at Ole Miss he proved he could field a great offense...regardless of QB. Matt Corrall was a 3rd year QB with limited experience when Kiffin took over at OM in 2020. OM was number 1 in the SEC in total offense that season. Jaxson Dart was a Soph with limited starting experience when he became the OM starter in 2022. OM was a top 3 offensive team. Last year Chambliss had never played a D-1 game. OM was the top offense in the SEC.

Based upon past history, there is no reason to be believe LSU's offense will be bad this year....regardless of the QB. Now, will LSU be good enough on both sides of the ball at the right times to win 10 games? TBD

It means if you bet $100 and lose, you pay $110

This is how things used to be. Called the juice.

But many bets now with only 2 outcomes have varied juice

It's why Kalshi has become so popular

Anyone remember the over/under Kelly’s first year? I took the over. That was easy money.

Joe Burrow’s first season in the NFL, seemed like every time I was in the casino and bet, he won.

Speaking of betting, I was up in N. Ga. a few years back. Walking into a restaurant with my sister. We saw a family there with their son. I asked for a TV to be set on ESPN for a bowl game. The Son told me the line on the game, I told him to take the points. Then he asked about the second game and the two the next day. A few days later he saw my sister at his parents house. Asked what I did for a living. Then told her I hit all 4 games.
